“This place was fantastic! I blew a tire on my travel trailer on the Thruway And I was towed to Mahwah To a tire place that was supposed to have what I needed. When we got there, they didn’t and I called at least a dozen local tire places with zero success. I called this place and the guy was so helpful although he did not have the exact tire I needed. He was able to sell me another one that was very similar. I ended up buying two which meant I needed to drive back to my trailer. Install the one tire bring the trailer back to him to install the second tire. The place stayed open an hour later for a complete stranger and saved my family vacation!!!! Had it not been for them my travel Trailer would have been sitting in the middle of a grocery store parking lot certainly overnight. My food would have spoiled and we never would have been able to get back on the road the same evening. Good people still exist! Luckily I live pretty local and will be using them from here on out!”

“Found a nail in one of my tires so I went to Mavis in Oakland to fix it since they installed all the tires. I have used Mavis for years as they have installed tires on all of my vehicles and trailers. They are always courteous, friendly and reliable. I will continue to use them but I have to complain about the price. They found a nail in my tire. They plugged it. They didn’t take the tire off of the truck and patch it they just jacked the truck up pulled out the nail and plugged it. The price $50.00. I mean come on that’s insane. 5 minutes of work for $50.00. If they actually took it off and patched it like I wanted since the tires have 6,000 miles I wouldn’t be worried about the price but a plug for $50.00 is just insane and unreasonable. I then asked how much an oil change would be and was quoted $140.00. It’s a Chevy Suburban that uses conventional oil so $140.00 is completely insane. I understand everything is expensive in today’s world but this is getting out of hand.”

“They were great. I went in thinking I needed a wheel alignment, they brought my truck in, hooked it up, diagnosed I didn't need an alignment, gave me printout, no charge. Very polite, knowledgeable and honest.”
“Great service! I came in with a nail in my tire and found out I had a bubble in another tire. JR and Jonathan were communicative and explained it in a way that was clear and easy to understand. The service was fast despite me not having an appointment and the lobby was air conditioned, which is very important for the 100+ degree day.”

They tend to be very busy, it's best to call ahead and schedule your work if possible! What I learned from my visit by looking at the wall certificates, thank you letters (on the wall) and talking to an employee is: Dave is retired, he is a firefighter and known of donating to schools, saving lives.. etc. he seems to be a very good caring man! I think he is the owner!”

“4 new tire install at the building. When arrived, they brought 4 different tires than ordered. We agreed to continue work as they kept with the original quoted price,(same brand just a different grade, better tire). As work continued, the TPSM broke. Honestly things just didn't seem like it was going good. Not everyday can be flawless and It was just one of those days. Still continued on and they ordered an OEM TPSM.
The entire staff was very pleasant. They compensated for the mishaps that day all was taken care of professionally. Like said before, things happen and was handles great. I would still recommend Momemtum.”
