“Would be 5 stars. The location is excellent, especially if you are traveling to Seaside or LBI, as it's at the junction of 539 and route 70. So that's awesome. Unfortunately due to this fact it can also be difficult to get in and out of, but not a big deal. The prices are good. Best in the town of Whiting by far, be it wine, beer, or liquor, they generally offer a considerable discount to their competitors.
My one beef is that the employees are consistently rude. There is a language barrier and perhaps a cultural and customs barrier when it comes to manners. It's therefore possible I'm simply ignorant. However, they seem awfully unfriendly. I always smile and say hello, and I'm often ignored. I don't take it personally because I see them behave that way to everyone they serve. I just don't understand that kind of behavior. Especially to regular customers. Maybe there's something I'm missing.”

“I went into the store and this young lady gave me the most friendly welcome.. I told her I needed help finding the Sutter Home Chardonnay and she walked me right over to it and then carried the bottle to the register for me ? I told her I've never seen her there before and she explained she was new and introduced herself and then told me to have a great rest of my day and that she'd hope to see me soon.. to go put my feet up and relax and enjoy the Sutter Home.. then she started stocking things behind the counter.. what a great, friendly, hard working new employee they found. Her name was Tammy.. what a breath of fresh air that young lady was.. I hope to see Tammy every time I go there ?”
“This is the Toms River Liquor Store everybody comes past it going to Seaside Heights for the Shore points and they're reasonably priced the staff is very generous in their kind also they give out t-shirts and memorabilia for the different Liquors that they sell they have ice and chips and soda and wine cooler you can imagine their knowledgeable when it comes to wine and very clean”
