“I moved here 3 years ago with my dog from NYC. This building and surrounding area are great. It's like living in a small European city with everything within walking distance.The building itself is a LEED certified sustainable building. In an emergency the generators kick in. Our utilities are super low. The thermostats are centrally regulated with a VRF system . If you like temps below 60 or above 75 you'll hate it here. 10" concrete floors & ceilings mean you never get woken by stomping neighbors. Although I wish the walls were concrete too because I can sometimes hear a neighbor singing.My favorite parts are the gym & the 5th floor roof with grills. The roof has a beautiful sustainable garden. Grills stations have continuous hookups so you can cook forever. They are immaculately cleaned every morning by staff.Warning though - if you want to have more than 4 friends over for a BBQ they will bill you for hosting. You also have to pay to host parties anywhere which is fair. You're also not allowed to have guests in the gym. I love this all this because I don't pay rent for other people to bother me but to each their own.The prior management company, Greystar, did a lot of not great things and weren't responsive. My lease renewal over the holidays was a nightmare and they asked me to sign in person in the year 2022!The new management company, Scully, is super attentive and does their best despite some things out of their control. Things like package handling are now managed well with lockers & emails. They fix minor apartment issues (washer filter, etc) usually in 24 hours.BONUS: The desk staff always have a treat for your furry friends.”

“Such a nice place. Very clean, the trash company comes up everyday everything is so convenient there the highway, the groceries, Premium shopping outlets are like 5 minutes away. And lastly the apartment manager Anna is so pleasant and so helpful. That lady was always been a big help for us. we came 6 years ago as newly wedded couple we never had any problems. However we ended up buying our own house this is why we had to leave. I will always miss this place I had such a great memories from this place my kids were born and played there. I totally recommend this place. Thank you Ana and CJ Lambardo for everything.”

“I lived here for four years. If not for work transferring me else where I would have renewed for a fifth year lease. The location was perfect, quiet, and full of friendly neighbors and staff. The office staff was always great to work with and talk too as they were always very professional. The maintenance team was always quick, timely, and courteous as well. They had the most professional maintenance staff I had ever experienced at a large apt complex. I would recommend the village to anyone. If I ever return to NJ, I would definitely look to reside at the village again.”

“This bulding and this management is one of the best that i ever had to be a part of. They have been doing an amazing job making sure the building is always safe and clean. The maintenance calls are always fast and helpful. The location is also undeniably coveniant. It's with in less then 10 minutes to everything.”

“So far I have been living here for 2 months and can say Im very happy we chose Chadwick Village Apartments vs others around the area. Though it is more expensive, the area is quiet, the walls are thick so you rarely hear others in general, maintenance has been quick to help (which has only been two things that weren't vital issues), and being able to pay your bills through an app has made payments very easy to send. They also aren't kidding about having a very large space for an apartment (check out the virtual tour!) Finally, contacting the management office is no hassle at all (most times i leave a message with my question/situation and get a call back within the hour).I haven't been here long but I don't regret my decision in the slightest. If you can afford this place, I would highly recommend it for a relaxing cozy home.Update: it's been 8 months and everything has still been great ??”

“I've lived here for 6 months and I love it! The building is very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the apartments are beautiful! Also, the rent is pretty good for South Jersey. The building is right behind the Ben franklin Bridge and is very easy to get to Philadelphia. I would recommend! Violet and everyone in the leasing office, the front desk, the security guards and maintenance are very nice and helpful.”

“I live their 2012 to 2014 I love the apartments they are great in bedroom are large and closet space is it's great when you have alot of clothes this building get bad reviews for nothing it's nothing like other one I love the security to people need that if I had to come back to camden I'm going their.”

“I lived at the Metropolitan for about a year while living in South Jersey and I have to say that it was a phenomenal experience through and through. From the flexibility in their lease durations and very responsive and welcoming staff to the overall ease of the move in and out process, I have nothing but good things to say about the facilities.

Pros:
- It’s close to but not in downtown Philly and the Amtrak or Patco
- You’re walking distance from the River
- About 10 minutes from Cherry Hill Mall and (I think 3) Planet Fitness
- All staff and neighbors are extremely friendly and respectful
- Very affordable
- No roaches or insects
- Generally no mice

Cons:
- There was a small period (about a month) where an older long time tenant was moving out and the mice he had moved in, but it was very short lived

Overall: Would highly recommend to anyone looking to move to the area! It’s arguably the best find on this side of South Jersey for renting. I would definitely move back if ever in the area.

“I have been living at Fox Meadow apartments for less than a month. So far everything is great. My kids are having a blast and enjoying their summer. I love that they get to play right outside with other kids their age. They love going to the clubhouse and the pool. The staff there is nice and courteous. My leasing agent Mercedes was so patient and so understanding of my situation when I first applied for the apartment. She is personable, kind and patient. I am very pleased to have dealt with her.”

“My girlfriend and I have lived here for the past year with relatively no issues. Any issues we've had shouldn't impact anyone's decision to move in. They also made moving in very easy given I was out of state.Not crazy about the price hike, which is our reason for moving out, but this is a business and they are charging what people are willing to pay. “Lived here for just over two years. It was a great experience. As I settle into a new rental, I really appreciate how great the Chocolate Works property management was. They were responsive to requests and always available. Common are maintained well. Spill in the elevator? Gone in minutes. Halls were vacuumed at least weekly. Trash piling up in the compactor? They ordered an extra pickup. Our trash chute was never backed up (not true for my new building). There were some poorly behaved neighbors, but they handled the situation quickly and professionally. Maintenance requests were addressed the same day. Units are fine. They have been around a while, so they may seem worn, but they do try to renovate. I love the old wood beans in the ceiling. I love the history of the building (it was the former home of the Wilbur Chocolate Factory). Despite sitting up against the Ben Franklin Bridge, my apartment on the North side of the building was pretty quiet for a city apartment. If you have a car, the lots under the bridge are a pretty good deal for parking. The building has some parking as well, though there may be a wait list. There's free coffee and water in the common areas, a pool table, and a conference room.”

The apartments are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, making everyday living a pleasure.

The amenities at One Water Street are fantastic. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views and has become my go-to spot to relax and entertain friends and family. The fitness center is well-maintained and has everything I need to squeeze in a quick, solid workout into my day.

The management team is another major highlight of One Water Street. They are professional, responsive, and genuinely care about the well-being of the residents. “Just moved in and it has been a great experience. Everyone in the office has been incredible and extremely helpful. They were accommodating with my schedule and made the leasing process simple. Moving in was easy. Manny, the awesome guy who showed me the apartment and sold me on it, was there move-in day ready with the keys and showed me everything I needed to know to get my things up to the apartment. The couple very small issue with the apartment I had day one were taken care of quickly. And this is hands down the cleanest apartment I've walked into on day one. But again, best part has been all of the helpful staff in the office and the front desk. They made the leasing and move-in experience great.”
