“As the new year approaches, I usually reminisce about the good things the past year brought me. Among them, 2025 brought me an excellent used 2009 Lexus GX470, sold to me by Mike Santangelo of Kar Connection in New Jersey. This wouldn't be unusual if it weren't for the fact that the entire negotiation process was conducted remotely, as we were separated by a roughly 25-hour drive or several hours by plane. I learned about the vehicle through an internet search, and then, via phone, text messages, and email, we exchanged the relevant information. At one point, the seller seemed a little uncomfortable and told me that in his long experience (over 40 years), this was the first time a potential buyer had asked so many questions. We finally completed the transaction: I paid the agreed-upon price plus shipping by my credit card, and they delivered the vehicle on time. Of course, just as everything went smoothly, something could have gone wrong and affected the buyer. I was aware of this and (although I didn't mention any of this to the seller) I was prepared to pay thousands of dollars to a lawyer to take my case to court if necessary. Fortunately, the seller is a gentleman and he kept his word. “This is the place to go hands down! I seen this dealership and thought just for the heck of it let me see what they have in stock. I am so glad I did! I looked at all their stock and had 1 or 2 in mind but then was told we have another one coming in in a few days which I think is exactly what your looking for. The salesperson did not have to do that and could have just sold me what he had but he listened to my needs and wanted to find the best match for me and not just get rid of some inventory. The van came in and it was everything he said and then some. It was clean and ready to go. There were a couple of minor fixes that had to be done (nothing major) but without hesitation and without even asking got it taken care of right on the spot. Their attention to detail and treating the customer with respect is outstanding! They answered every call when I had a question and always when they said they would. They never kept me waiting. You never get that kind of attention from the big dealers and you don't know what you are getting from a private owner. They gave me a better price than was originally quoted. Wow-Are you serious?! There was no pressure, haggling or saying "let me go into the back and speak to my manager line!" I can tell you I don't write too many reviews but these guys are just too good not to let everyone know about them. It is not a fancy place like those big guys you see everywhere but your not going there for a night on the town. It is a well organized, clean, well-run business which has got my loyalty locked in. I hope they are around for a long time because my next van will be from them without looking elsewhere.
