“Giving this shop 5 stars. I typically do all my own work on my cars/motorcycles, and usually try to learn a new skill myself before paying someone to do work for me.
Unfortunately I had a reg suspension on 1 of my vehicles that I did not get notified from the DMV about. Got pulled over on the Palisades and police had to tow the vehicle and impound it at this shop. Everyone at the shop was friendly and easy to talk to, which is a pleasure given how many shops I've spoken to that are the complete opposite vibe. Really means a lot to me. Spent some time talking to the mechanics, and it's awesome to see a shop with people working who are passionate about building cars and know what they are talking about across a range of manufactures.
If I ever needed work done, I would not hesitate to give them a call.”
“I’ve never messed with propane before and they explained everything I needed to know (don’t store indoors, expiration date, how to use). Thanks for the patience and great service!”
“I'm not the write a review type of guy but this place really is excellent for gases and welding supplies. Excellent customer service, all employees are helpful and friendly and they really do have great prices to boot. Dennis was particularly helpful with my order and down to earth to interact with. What more could you ask for. Honestly, check them out.”
“Great service. Only pay for what is filled. The fill station has a great metering system so you dont over pay, like when you trade tanks that are not completely empty. 5 stars.”
“Quick and easy process. Shout out to Andrew that confirmed the booking on the phone the day prior and shout out and thanks to Kevin that set me up with everything when I arrived. When I need to rent a truck again, going to 100% use this location . Thanks again”

“Great, friendly service, got me in and out in minutes, zero issues. They have good hours, it was -21F real feel outside, yet they were still open with no complaints. I've been coming here for over 15 years.”
“I had a great experience with the Jersey City U-Haul Truck & Storage location! Alex was exceptional—extremely helpful, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. He made everything easy and stress-free, and his customer service truly stood out. The facility was clean, organized, and secure. I really appreciate the excellent service and would definitely recommend this location, especially Alex!”
“Very smooth experience. Truck was ready to go, check in very easy, and the person at the desk was super professional and helpful. He helped us adjust our reservation on the spot at no charge. Yes, you are required to check in on your phone, which adds a few minutes. But seems that’s true of most transactions we have in life these days. Gas was only 1/4 full but was not an issue for us as we were just doing a short local move. Price was right. Would definitely use this location again.”

“I have been going to Modern Propane in Lodi so far back that they were operating out of a shipping container! I had a Charmhlow CC1 for over 40 years and Modern supplied me with all the replacement parts that I needed… burners, grates, knobs and handles and valves. That was a top of the line grill but finally it died. I purchased a Broil King Monarch 390 floor model. I understand that it is a top of the line Canadian product and I couldn’t be happier with it and all of Modern Propanes employees over the years. Thanks”
