“This is the best VFW in the state if you’re looking for a space to rent !! Had my wedding reception here and from step 1 Jesse was nothing but helpful and excited as if I were his own daughter. He made sure the space was able to transform into my dream venue and gave us free rein over what we wanted the place to look like. The building is all freshly renovated and is honestly one of the prettiest VFWs I’ve ever seen. When the day of the wedding came everything went wrong on my end and the day was chaotic. I called to let Jesse know and he immediately had the Worlds best bartender Mike call me and assure that the night would run smoothly. Once we got there the party was on, Mike went above & beyond and my family was raving about him afterwords. VFW Lodi made my wedding day one of the best days of my life. I would recommend them 1000 times over!!!”

“I had my wedding at the Rockleigh on October 12th and all I can say is that my husband and I made the right choice. The venue is breathtaking, the food superb and the staff outstanding! My day was perfect! Zara our event coordinator was there for us every step of the way. She made everything easy for us from the start, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Stephanie, was so patient with my technical challenges and last minute changes. Jamie my bridal attendant was with me from 7am to 7pm and ensured that I had everything I needed. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and was like a 2nd mother and personal bodyguard through out the day making sure I was fed and hydrated and my husband and I had everything we needed. Anthony our maitre de just outstanding. He made sure not only we had everything we needed and were having a great time, he took extra special care of all our guests. The service was phenomenal, the guests are still raving about the food. We went all out for our special day from early morning opening to get ready in their luxury salon with breakfast and lunch for all our people and added all the extras at cocktail, seafood stations, tomahawk steak etc, Viennese as well as the after hours package and it was totally worth the money! “Choosing The Estate at Florentine Gardens for our wedding in November was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elegant, warm, and incredibly well thought out — but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff.

Every single person we worked with was perfectly accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely supported throughout the entire day. Our wedding attendant, Monica, deserves the highest praise and biggest shout out— she was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead of my needs (especially with the many outfit changes). Without her, I don't know what I would've done. My husband and I were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment without worrying about a single detail.

And the cocktail hour food...omg truly the best ever. It was abundant, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. We still hear our guests raving about it and telling us it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever experienced at a wedding.

The grounds were stunning, the flow of the evening was flawless, and every detail was executed with such precision and heart. It genuinely felt like the entire team at Florentine Gardens was invested in making our wedding perfect — and they absolutely succeeded.

“Yesterday I used the Workville Space for a team meeting with 10 people. It is a fantastic office space! The customer service is exceptional! Booking via email was super easy with a live person able to answer all questions. Once we arrived the reception administrator was super helpful and helped me set up my equipment. He was available throughout my meeting to help with any needs or questions. The space was clean, bright, professional and perfect for our needs. I will definitely be returning! While I highly recommend Hotel Le Soleil NYC for anyone searching for a comfortable and convenient retreat, I did encounter a couple of issues. Firstly, I found the rates to be somewhat on the pricey side compared to other similar options in the area. Additionally, I noticed a persistent sewage smell in the bathroom that was quite unpleasant. The sofa bed in my room was another downside; it was uncomfortable and inconvenient, making my nights less restful than I had hoped.

Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience at Hotel Le Soleil NYC was positive, and I would still encourage anyone to consider it for their stay in the city, particularly for its exceptional service and ideal location.

Walkability: It's located in Bryant Park, very close to subway stations and the main attractions around NYC.

Food and drinks: I would not spend money on breakfast here; instead, walk five minutes and you will find many local coffee shops.”

“Came here to watch a Knicks game with the Chicago Bulls. The arena is massive and always crowded but plenty of food options and restaurants. The service is always prompt and easy. Great ambiance for any sporting events or social gatherings.”

“We have not been able to stop raving about Riverview and about our experience there. I can’t say enough good things about The Riverview. The team made sure our event was more than we could have ever imagined and asked for. I must have called over 50 venues before choosing this one, and not a single place came close to the level of professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail that Stefania and Arthur showed us. My mother, who owned a party planning business for years, even said she’s never seen a venue handle things this smoothly and thoughtfully.

From the very beginning, they went above and beyond. They thought through every tiny detail - things I wouldn’t have even known to ask about. They were incredibly responsive, even on weekends, after hours, and late at night and always made us feel like we were their top priority. Because we live far from the venue, Stefania not only arranged a virtual walkthrough for us, she then actually went through the space herself, gathered  photos of each area, and sent them to us with descriptive details so we could decide which rooms we wanted to use for specific parts of the wedding. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible. They were on-top of scheduling multiple meetings to make sure our whole event was perfect and exactly the way we wanted it to be.

They offered so many thoughtful touches - like including a beautiful bench option for under the bedeckin and even a chuppah - and packed so much into the package that most venues would charge extra for. They kept in constant communication, checked in regularly, and scheduled multiple meetings to ensure we felt completely ready.

The day of the wedding, everything was flawless. My father is handicapped, and they took the time to sit down with us beforehand to plan everything out carefully - even measuring the aisle to make sure it was comfortable for him. That level of care meant the world to us.

The venue itself is absolutely STUNNING - it is so regal, elegant, and well-designed. Our photos came out gorgeous. Friends of ours are still talking about the gorgeous venue and how beautiful all the pictures came out. What stood out most was the team's honesty and transparency; nothing was hidden or last-minute. They even helped us make decisions that a typical venue would never get involved in, essentially stepping in like our own event planners when we didn’t have one.

I can honestly say I’ve never felt more taken care of by a company. One guest actually told me during the wedding, “I’ve never seen a more relaxed bride,” and that’s 100% thanks to Stefania and Arthur at the Riverview team. Their coordination, communication, and genuine care made our entire experience with them unforgettable. Truly blown away by Riverview and could not recommend them enough!!”

“Visited in last day and last moment before the museum getting closed after 20 years. Unique closing party with performance from traditional culture born from Himalaya. A lot of spectacular sculpture in this museum from 16-17th century when people spent decades to craft a master piece instead of leveraging 3D printer. Hopefully the exhibition will be available somewhere else in the world.”

“Excellent customer service and overall experience from the second our cab pulled up! The room was perfectly clean, including the bathroom and kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast room service is exceptional, dinner, not so much. At least what we ordered for dinner wasn't good. It was the fettuccine and suppose to be a white wine sauce if I remember correctly. The pasta tasted microwaved, and there was hardly any sauce. A better bet would be to go to the Italian restaurant downstairs for dinner, and the restaurant upstairs (where room service is from) for breakfast. We LOVED our French toast, potatoes and peppers, sausage, and berries. So so good. We ordered pastries the next morning and those were really good too. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job as well! We will be back :-)”

“I attended JFRE event last month or another name is Japanese Food & Restaurant Expo. It was super nice to see tons of vender and restaurant owner. It is a good opportunity to get contract and explore more high quality or get a good deal for your business if you are in this industry. The convention has separate section between food, drink and equipment. It was less people in the morning but super packed in the afternoon.”

Sal, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with—very responsive, friendly, truly accommodating, and so easy to work with. From our first meeting, he walked me through every detail, making the planning process effortless. He stayed in touch throughout, answered all my questions, and ensured everything was set up exactly as I envisioned.

The venue itself is next-level! It has a cool nightclub vibe (can easily transform the space to fit your event type), with a state-of-the-art sound system, an incredible light show, and a massive 32-foot bar that was a huge hit with our guests. The flexible seating and table setups let us customize the space exactly how we desired. Super easy parking.

What really sets Halo apart is how much they offer to simplify event planning. We booked their Starlite DJ, and he was phenomenal—playing all our favorite songs while seamlessly mixing in his own picks to match the crowd’s energy. He kept the vibe high all night and was amazing on the mic! They also offer catering services, backdrops, photo booths, décor add-ons, and much more, making the entire process so much easier!

And let’s talk about the Halo team—absolutely amazing! Our two bartenders were pros, serving up fantastic drinks and handling our crowd of 60 effortlessly. Huge shoutout to Julio—the true MVP of the night! From setup to the very end, he made sure everything ran smoothly, handled any requests with patience and a positive attitude, and went above and beyond to help. Julio, you are the best!

My husband had an unforgettable night, and our guests haven’t stopped raving about how fun the party was and how unique the venue is. If you’re looking for the perfect place to host an incredible event, Halo Lounge is the place! We will definitely be hosting future events at Halo and recommending it to our friends and family. “Visited Gotham hall for a family party earlier this month. This place is located right on Broadway. This is a nice location for events. The staff helping was courteous, helpful and professional. The only thing this place didn’t had was a dedicated nursing station for a new mother and a baby. One of our family member had to do that in the restroom. But I truly thank that staff member who placed some chairs in the restroom to help that mother. He did go above and beyond and we are very grateful for that.”
