“Lovely upscale business worked by local women that go more than out of their way to assist you in finding perfectly paired outfits. The owner, which I didn't realize the owner went overboard to made sure I left with many great clothes to revive my fall wardrobe. No need to look further for any season. Therese an offering for any size, shaped and taste, and great flip flops too! I have a hard time staying away and each week the store is full of new surprises. My husband lives to sit and watch my fashion show! Thank you to those most accommodating ladies!”

The owner is incredibly kind, talented, and has such an amazing eye for fashion. You can tell how much thought and care goes into every piece she selects for the store. “Chick's LBI Shop is the perfect sized store to shop in for T-shirt's, sweatshirts, tank-tops, etc. They have a nice selection of decently priced merchandise for men and women. The quality of some of the shirts seems to be a level above the cheap shirts that some of the other stores on LBI are selling. Maybe that's why Chick's has been in business for so long. They had some good sale shirts on the rack outside the store. I got a cute tank-top on sale for $15. The woman employee who was working was super friendly and we had a nice chat with her. I wish I remembered her name. It's so important to have friendly employees when you own a business. If you want to sell things, people are more likely to buy from a store where they positively interact with a friendly employee. I'll definitely go back to Chick's the next time I'm in LBI. I recommend it. Check it out for all your t-shirt and sweatshirt needs!”
“Stopped in after breakfast for a tall back beach chair. Helpful and personable Nash helps to reach and bring down exactly what I need and carries the bulky chair to the check out line for me. In line, Mary Jane kindly tells me that a staff member is able to help me bring the chair to my car. Another friendly gentleman, Jackson, completes the transaction at the register and thoughtfully walks the heavy chair around the counter to hand to me. What an amazing staff B&B has! Thank you for the help, kindness, and exceptional experience!”

“Not many XL or XXL sizes in women's, literally had to buy from the men's section to get anything that actually fit me. I am 185 pounds, and, usually XL and XXL sizes aren't hard to find these days, especially with companies making the shirts smaller than they say they are.”

“Unfortunately, I was accidentally overcharged and didn’t notice until I checked my bank account a day later. I called the store and they asked me to send an email to island gypsy with receipts + tags all of that stuff, and they got back to me within minutes which was great. They called me an hour later to refund me and I was extremely happy with how efficient and quick they were to help me get my money back. Thank you island gypsy for the great customer service!”

“My friends and I visited the store yesterday. First, we were very warmly welcomed by the 2 beautiful young ladies. ( even through we are pretty old and not dressed too well ☺. ) I later see on the web that one of them is the owner. Beautiful things, helpful staff and very unique items. I ended up purchasing a cool crafted denim trucker style jacket w material insets of vintage postcards….love it. We will definitely be back to sample other beautiful items! Well done! Thank you!”
