“Edited Sept 2026 - soon after the first review was posted I was contacted by the practice owner, Dr. Todd McNiff. He apologized profusely for the experience and requested that I come back to see him for my next appointment, which I did. Not only did I appreciate the recognition of my frustration(s), Dr. McNiff has provided great care over subsequent visits. I really wanted to like this doctor’s office. I’ve had trouble finding a doctor since I moved to the city and this practice was recommended by a friend who raved about it. I’ve visited this location 5 times for annual checkups and quarterly blood work required for medication - every visit I’ve waited 25-30 minutes for my appointment-today I wasn’t called in until 11:53 for a 11:30 appointment, blood work, which took all of 3 minutes to get from me. I haven’t decided if it’s lack of professionalism or lack of care, the front desk staff sure is indifferent”

“I’ve been a patient of this physician for years, even before the office moved to its current location on Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City, and I can honestly say I’ve always appreciated the level of care I receive. The wait time can sometimes be long, but I truly believe that’s because he takes the time to give each patient his undivided attention. You never feel rushed or like you’re just another number. He listens, explains things thoroughly, and makes sure his patients’ concerns are addressed. I also really appreciate the convenience of having services like bloodwork and thyroid sonograms done right in the office. The staff is amazing as well — friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, I’m very happy with the care I’ve received over the years and would definitely recommend this office to others looking for a physician who genuinely takes the time to care for his patients.”

They have always done their level best to take me and take care of my issue.I have always gotten the utmost professional attention from every Medical Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Doctor or Practitioner that works at Cylar House. Housing Works was formed by Keith Cylar with a mission to kindly handle the medical needs of many in New York during the AIDS crisis. But it has evolved into a place that makes me thrive, even though I do not have HIV.I have never received better medical attention by any medical practice anywhere in my life, and I’ve lived all over the States. No one can believe my true age and that’s due in large part to thriving under Housing Works affordable care.”
