“I can't say enough good things about this store. I am sad they closed the one in King of Prussia, PA, as the store in NYC is harder to get to, but you can always shop online.”
“Staff is so helpful and knowledgable. Friendly and kind. I love their dog who greets every single customer who walks in the door! And they always have a seasonal drink and cookies which you just don't see anywhere anymore. They have everything you could possibly need for your backyard habitat. Highly recommend a visit here!”
“Well stocked place for all ypur RC hobby needs. The sales/counter person Dillion was not only very helpful but knowledgeable as well. Would be returning and recommending SHADOW HOBBIES!!”
“I had a great experience with American Coin & Stamp Company in Clifton. I spoke with Charlie on the phone beforehand, and he was incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable right from the start.
I brought in some old coins, including a few Indian Head dollars, and the exchange was very fair and informative. Another gentleman took the time to explain things clearly, which made the whole process feel comfortable and trustworthy.
What really stood out was the kindness and personal touch. My girlfriend is of Dominican heritage, and the gentleman even shared an old Dominican dollar bill with her, which meant a lot and really summed up how thoughtful and genuine the experience was.
I can absolutely see why this place has such a strong reputation. Kind, professional, and welcoming — I would definitely do business with them again.”
“Great store very friendly staff, great displays and a dangerous amount of products(gunpla and more). The inventory was better then I was expecting, thank you guys for making my trip out a great one I'll be down again soon.”
“Everyone is very friendly here. I am extremely casual with card games, but I’ve always felt welcome.
I love buying random old games here too”
“The workers are so incredibly kind and helpful! They are very knowledgeable on the products and answered all of my questions! They have good pricing and a good selection of items. Super organized and clean store. I will continue to shop here for my art supply needs!”
“Amazing selection with helpful and knowledgable staff - you never buy something without knowing what you're getting. Showed me ink samples, explained bits about my pen that I bought that i wouldnt have known otherwise. So good i came twice in one trip. Absolute reccomend! Margaret was extremely knowledgable. Go here!”
“Tannens is a great store. I've bought from them a good handful of times. Always great service. This time, I figured I'd try the $50 mystery box. First time purchasing it. Man(!!!) am I glad I did. I know this must be a rarity, I opened the box and saw a thin book, something in another box, a thick deck of cards and a mentalism piece that was in a thin cardboard box. So, ok, let's see what I got. The thick deck of cards was The Bigger Picture, the thin book was HERMES, the mentalism piece in the box was Rhine 2000. What was in the other box, A Mikame Magicians Changing Chest circa 2005 in brand new condition!! I was FLOORED!! I'm sure I got really lucky.
Thank you Tannens”
“Great store with a nice selection. Lily took the time to walk us through suggestions for their favorite 2p and cooperative games. Welcoming space, they were doing a magic the gathering event and it seemed to be packed! Highly recommend :)”
“Chris and his team at America The Beautiful are second to none. From the moment you walk in to his beautiful historic storefront, you can already feel that you made the right choice. All of the products at his place are made in the U.S. including but not limited to the flags, flagpoles, and the hardware. Chris treated you like you were a part of his family taking care of every question and concern in a timely manner and was extremely professional, transparent, ready to take on the task at hand, and taking pride in his work. I could have not asked for a better flagpole and even better service! If you want a company that will provide exceptional service than look no further than this place!”
“Their main floor area is small ish and dominated by comics, though they have a decent selection of board games... extremely good compared to most comic shops I've been to. My main reason to go is not for comics, but for card games (TCGs). My son loves Pokemon and I play MTG. They have a surprisingly spacious and (by game store standards) exceptionally well kept basement play area. The store has a somewhat limited but fair priced singles selection. The best reason to go, putting aside and preferences for player communities/friends' preferences, the prices for sealed products are the best around. Owner sets prices based on MSRP, not market prices (I think), so prices are consistently lower.”
“Family owned and operated Apollo flags has been assisting our fire department for over 20 years. Always there to help with guidance and what type of flags to get with the current styles and their service is also second to none. They also help with custom orders”
“Call the guy was awesome on the phone. I went down to his store. Store was one of the best stores I have been in on the East Coast from Florida. I will definitely be back every year. Guy is super knowledgeable treated me like a king. Thank you.”
“This place is the best hobby shop in NJ. I have been to a few dozen hobby shops and this place has it all. Parts for all types of RC stuff. (NOT JUST TRAXXAS) like every other hobby shop nowadays. Keep up the good work and remember to support your small business local hobby shop!”

“The store just opened back up about a month ago. Along with all the items we're familiar with, they've also added a bunch of new merchandise. They really have improved the overall flow of the store.”
“AN AMAZING TIME HERE! Dropped by & their Warhammer Thursday event was on, what a phenomenal experience. So much passion & talent, a truly dedicated fandom.
If you're looking for a place to nerd-out, THIS IS IT! Plenty more events throughout the week”
“Experience was amazing the owner helped me with everything I needed and went through all of the products throughly with me. 100% recommend and must visit for all your card needs.”
“Was in the area and looking for a few products so stopped in. Place is stocked on sports. Prices are in line with sports card stores. For harder to find stuff it’s a bit more than retail but that’s expected and fair. The guy there, possibly the owner, was friendly and super helpful. I ended up with some good stuff and an overall good experience. I’ll be back. If you need anything from baseball to Pokemon they have it and like I said, fair prices. Oh lots of hockey which is not easy to find always.”
“Beautiful craft store, they have a wide selection of yarns types and colors. This is my favorite local yarn store! I have many hobbies and they covered all of them. ❤️
The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have ribbons, yarns, knitting needles, embroidery supplies, sewing patterns and fabrics, I just love this store.”
“I would like to extend a huge shout out to the team at BLICK for helping me Get my pieces ready for art expo, New York last month. My recent trip there was incredible, but also very nerve-racking, Raluca, Nina, and Jessica Saved the day by hitting the ground running on a last-minute request I had. I literally called them from the airport to see if they were able to do some same day framing for me. Their ability to help me out, even though they had an extremely mounting workload already, Is a gift that I will never forget. Not only Where my piece is ready before the show, but the Craftsmanship was Flawless. The BLICK flagship store is one of the most beautiful establishments that I’ve ever walked into! I cannot wait to work with his team again, of course, with way more notice this time. I highly suggest visiting this location if you are ever in town or just live in New York. They really appreciate the arts, and there are some amazing artists there as well. Thank you again so much!!!!”
“I’m from Las Vegas but as I have had an extended work trip, I’ve been so grateful to have access to Blicks and staff is so friendly and helpful! Keeping my creativity alive while I experience the grind of the city has been imperative. ESSENTIAL BUSINESS!!”
“America's Pastime is an exceptional, old-school hobby shop with an incredible selection of vintage and modern cards. Rich and the team provide a knowledgeable, friendly atmosphere that makes this a must visit spot for any collector!”
“This is one of the best Michael's I’ve ever been to. I had a young lady (did not get her name but wish I had to give her a shout out) who helped me with my online order and was so patient, kind, and efficient even on a busy Friday night. Thank you for making my shopping experience a great one.”
“Gia was absolutely the best and helped my wife find something over the phone even though she wasn't in person She had lots of recommendations and made the whole process very easy for us. Would definitely recommend this Michaels.”
“Thank you so much for your help with ordering our stamps this past few weeks of January 17 th 2024 we received our stamps today Jan 27th 2024 looking forward to doing our business with your company sincerely Paul Schupska ?”
“Dr Saslow is a genuine professional and could seemingly do his job blindfolded. He has worked in precious metals and coin purchasing / sales for over 40 years and his wisdom was on full display.
My friend and I visited him last week to sell a variety of silver coins and with a mere glance (and double check) the good Dr. deftly categorized our entire batch, gave us back ones not worth more than their domination and advised us what the individual coins were worth in each group. He then, with accuracy and aplomb, and added up each stack, multiplied the per coin value by the total number in each stack to arrive at a set of subtotals. Our grand total was $1736 and we were thrilled with both his speed and knowledge.
Overall I’ve had quite a pleasurable experience performed by a master of his craft and we're thrilled to offer this testament to his excellence. Highly recommended!”

“The best sports and collectible store I ever been too. It reminds me of going similar stores when I was in high school. Great owner and workers there. Hands down the best.”
