“absolutely love this place I could've stayed to look at the fish all day. All the fish are well taken care of and they have an amazing selection of freshwater fish (mainly for bigger tank size). They have many types of substrates, rock for scaping, and the plants are well priced. Pete helped us he was very kind and helpful. It's hard to find a good fish store that offers the vibe of Fish hut. This place is a gem totally worth the drive out for me. Definitely coming back for stuff to scape my 36.”

“Had horrible past experiences at groomers, especially Petsmart in Lyndhurst with my dog Riley. They shaved him down to the bone and he was physically sick because of it so it was really hard to find and trust a new place. I brought Riley here because of the great reviews and they did an amazing job! They were fast and reasonably priced and he looks fantastic. I never usually write reviews but they definitely deserve it, will be coming back here again for sure.”

“Towne House Grooming is excellent and I would highly recommend them. My standard poodle went for her first appointment and she looks amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. They were incredible with the shaving and detailed, tedious work required for her paws and muzzle. They understood exactly what I was looking for with her cut and executed it perfectly. Additionally, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. I have already scheduled our next visit.”

“Today was my first time at Fur the love of pets. What a welcoming environment from the moment you enter and are greeted by John. My little Yorkie, Riley, is one of those in constant motion. Lisa was her groomer and was fabulous and on point with everything. Her haircut was perfect. Also, I love that the dogs aren’t crated and might I say, this is the first grooming salon that I’ve ever been to that does this. I’ve already booked Riley’s second appointment. If I could give 10 stars, I would.”

“I highly recommend Le Petique Atelier! Vincent is wonderful with my dog who is a very high energy puppy (sweet, but not one to sit calmly). We've brought her here twice and she comes home smelling amazing, soft as can be, and seems to be very comfortable with Vincent. He takes his time and it's apparent he cares about the dogs he grooms. He'll call partway through the appointment with an update on how the dog is doing and when she'll be ready for pick up. He always lets us know how she was during her time there and gives her a few treats as we leave. Puppy seems happy and so are we. Thank you!”

The owners are super friendly (and have a new cat) and will get you whatever you need if they don't have it in stock. I feel good about supporting a local business and even better for not getting my soul sucked out by bad bix box florescent lighting.”

“The very best grooming place. My dog, Sox is now 8 years old. He went through many groomers prior to me taking him to Shaggie. He dreaded going all the time. Wouldn’t want to step through the groomers doors. He’s been going to Shaggie Grooming for a few years now. Never once has he expressed not wanting to get groomed at this place. I feel so at ease taking him there. Amanda, the owner knows exactly how I feel about my dog and we have gotten the very best service each and every time. I cannot express how grateful I am to them for taking such good care of my dog. I just don’t know what I would do without them. I highly recommend Shaggie Grooming.”

They also have other options for order such as pick-up and online. The communication is great with text messages for any availability changes or updates. I discovered the store after watching the Netflix movie, "Pet Fooled" and looking for a specific brand of holistic grain-free or raw food and this store had it. They have tons of options and always willing to help or guide you into finding something. It's the Whole Foods market for pets :)”

“Wonderful store, with oodles of pet kid you will not find at the big chains like Petco or on Amazon. I'm terrified of traffic in the Dumbo area, and I was able to find a day-glo orange harness for a tiny quadroped pal. VERY reasonable prices (a comparable harness was $10 more at Petco). I also found dog food of the type I have NEVER seen before and a pup pal of mine really seems to have enjoyed it. Photo below.Michael, the proprietor, is also a master pet groomer. While I did not need those services, it's clear he has a nice rapport with our furry friends.”

“Believe me, this little place has way more stuff to choose from than petsmart and petco, and even Chewy. They have the top quality brands like Rawz, Ziwi, etc, all within 3 foot steps to grab. You also don’t have to buy in bulk like with the online retailers. The price is just the same as the big chain stores. So easy and satisfying to shop here!!”
