“This was our 4th time to Rumi's kitchen and it's been consistently great! Love the lamb kabobs, falafel, and house made bread! Outdoor seating is lovely and quiet.”
“Great store very friendly staff, great displays and a dangerous amount of products(gunpla and more). The inventory was better then I was expecting, thank you guys for making my trip out a great one I'll be down again soon.”

“Love to go there - amazing selection - but you have to understand the experience. It contains a HUGE selection of games, and RPG books. Might be the most in NY State outside of the huge Millennium games up in Rochester. I've found items that have been out of print for years, or had small production runs.
BUT...
Stacked in huge shelves that stretch from floor to ceiling. It takes a while to read through everything! With tiny aisles that barely have room for one person to walk down. If you're claustrophobic, be warned!
It's almost all at MSRP. Not a place to get a bargain or a deal, generally (that said, they do have a bargain shelf at the back of the store. Right hand aisle, left side all the way back).”
“Great gift shop, has all the regular stuff you’d want to find, but the prices are fair, and the staff are very friendly and kind.
We even got a holiday gift of a free magnet.
Kevin who I believe is the owner is super nice and definitely deserves the credit!”
“I love this place. I visited quite often. It is a small store but lots to see and buy. Little girls love this place. There are a few things for the boys to do. There is a basketball hoop on the main floor and a train set downstairs close to the restaurant. As for the restaurants in the store, it is phenomenal. The food was delicious. I highly recommend a visit when in New York City.
The photos are from my most recent visit (7/10/26)”
“I legitimately don't know where to start. I LOVE this store. I grew up in the neighborhood behind it so it has a massive nostalgia factor for me. The Staff has always been great. Bryan is super helpful with the usually very large amount of questions I have. They probably have more Pokemon, One Piece, DBZ, products in stock than most other stores, They also have very hard to find products, including other TCGs, action figures, and comics(which I don't know anything about) . The TCG prices are always just about even with market. Sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower. They also have the only rewards program I've seen in any store like it ever, and I've been to and even reviewed quite a few other stores like it. I just wish they had room to host play events!”
“Johana was very kind to my child . She asked them questions so she knew what book they were looking for, and she gave them very good choices to choose from. My child was completely comfortable around her. This employee is very nice, and welcoming with her customers.”
“Beautiful store! Everything was clean, and organized the staff was very kind and friendly.
The kids had so much fun, especially at the Build a Minifigure station where you can build 3 minifigures for $9.99. They loved choosing all the different parts and putting them together.
It's a lovely place for kids. Mine didn't want to leave and wanted to take half the store home. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.”
“Friendly staff, bright, clean, organized. Found exactly what I was looking for, which was the most updated large hardcover version of the dictionary. I want my kids to have access to a true old-style dictionary in addition to looking up words online. My teenage daughter also found a couple novels she wants to read.”
“I walked in today to purchase comics Pokemon and the guys WERE VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE. They let me look around and gave me my space to look for what I was looking for. Both men At the counter were extremely helpful and carried great conversation when I needed support. Super knowledgeable and helpful. I have never walked in to Paradox and had a bad experience. I walk in all the time and spend hundreds of dollars with no issues. Paradox can have my business any day of the week with comics and Pokemon. If you ever need anything please don’t be afraid to ask the staff for help or support. They are all awesome!!!!”

“Been going to this place for well over a year now and found the people working are some of the nicest staff there is! They usually have all the comics I want and I love digging through their boxes for old comics!”
“It was a great experience as the cashier and everyone in the store was very friendly and chill and the wide amount of comics and manga's, toys, and others is just great and I'm happy on my Asuka soryu figure. Great experience defiantly recommend!”

“Was in the store this past Saturday. There was a kid who was a little short on his purchase. The cashier came over and put up the money he needed to be able to purchase a football. He walked out of there super happy. Times like these we need a little kindness. What may seem small to others can be really big to someone else. I dodnt get her name and I should have but just wanted to share her kindness.”

“A community staple that constantly surprises with the stock and inventory they have for some harder to find collectibles/physical copies of games old and new. Shoutout Mr. Yoo!!”
“Yesterday was my son’s birthday party and I thought I ordered the balloons- turns out I didn’t. I called the balloon saloon an hour before the party in a panic. There was a rushed charge, but the Balloon Saloon worked fast, took the order, blew up the balloons and delivered to Chelsea in 45 mins. Thank you for your excellent products, customer service and hustle. I will be a customer for life. Thanks for saving a mom’s butt :)”
“If your a Disney fan or your kids have a buzzing stop here in a lighting speed.
To tell the story to your kids after their get their toys.
As their one is a magic experience you can not miss.
Lovely things to see And get.
For yourself or family.”
“Biggie's is great! The owners are super lovely and run it themselves. Their dog, Biggie, is super cute. Often there's people playing chess outside- it's pretty rad.
Inside is a vintage lovers paradise, or more specifically, a vintage smokers dream. They specialize in refurbishing old lighters, ash trays, and smoking sets. Trust me, they're awesome. If you're not a smoker, they have old magazines, game sets, and old-style soda. If you'd like to become a smoker but are scared, they have candy cigarettes. Sick!
Anyway, I like to pop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. You should pop in, too.”

“The staff here are incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the specifics, and give genuinely great recommendations. Michelle in particular was really good at finding tailored recommendations for us and giving us substantive thoughts on science fiction-ey comics, and is very well-read!
Even if you’re not into comics, it’s worth coming in here and asking the staff about comics, and buying something to support an interesting business and team of people.”
“I was here years before as a tourist and bought some very cute cloths for my niece :) I'm very happy to see your store still existing because it was right when the pandemic hit the city. Wish you guys all the best!!”

“Very nice toy store with a decent selection. Reminds me very much of S.W Randall in Pittsburgh. Staff are unbelievably friendly and easy going. This place is worth checking out if you are ever in New York.”
“I would like to thank the store for the excellent RC car. The model exceeded expectations:
high speed and excellent maneuverability;
the remote control works smoothly and without delays, with a control distance of about 30 meters;
the durable body has withstood several drops without scratches or chips;
the battery holds a charge for quite a long time (approximately 40 minutes of active play).”
“Sonny Angels, Smiski, monchhichi, Sanrio, Peachybbies Slime. Lots of good stuff.
You might have to wait outside a couple mins if they’re crowded but I’ve never waited more than 5 mins.”

“They had lots of cute items, and my boyfriend got the last of what I wanted (it was a plush keychain of a specific pokemon). Luckily we can share custody of the pokemon (lol). The socks were also really cute but had no sizing information and we both have larger feet, so we didn’t take the chance of them not fitting… I got a really cool little pen that has an extendable claw for scratching In my favorite color. My boyfriend is always asking me for back scratches and I thought it would be fun terrorize him around with the little claw 😂 I look forward to using it. I tested it on him in store before we bought and he said it was very powerful (he seemed more horrified than pleased), and then I extended the antennae and an expression of abject fear washed over him, but he resigned to his fate.
The woman working the counter was really nice, even though I clumsily bumped into something while browsing and knocked over some papers/ clipboard on one of the counters and was frantically trying to save them from all falling off the counter and making a huge mess for her to have to deal with, but it must have looked wild when she came back into the store to see what was going on!”
“My brother and I came here from Chicago and were planning to visit the Empire State Building, and we found this store right next to it. From the moment we walked in, we loved the energy and atmosphere.
A special thank you to Zoila, Juan, and Geo for making our visit so enjoyable. Zoila was incredibly kind and helped me find the perfect gift for my girlfriend. She was patient, friendly, and made the whole experience memorable. Juan was also very welcoming and spent time talking with me while I was waiting for my friends, which I really appreciated.
While I was there, I noticed they also host kids’ parties. It was great to see how much the children were enjoying themselves and how well everything was organized.
Thank you, Zoila, for helping create such a warm and positive environment. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again!”

“My recent visit to the Lego store at the Garden State Plaza was one of the best store experiences I've had! The Team is super friendly and knowledgeable and love sharing their enthusiasm about Lego with their customer's. They have an awesome selection across all themes in addition to having fun displays to explore! It's always a must go-to fun place to shop when visiting the Garden State Plaza, highly recommend!”
“Anwar was really kind and lovely! He helped check us out at the counter. He was talking to us about things in the area. He was telling us there was a table where we could open out ateez photocards. He was like he said his name means a light, to which should always keep shining. Hope we can see him again when we go back in a month! Thanks also rest of the staff! I didnt get their names but there were three other employees and were also helpful and kind as well. Thank you all hope you are doing well.”

“Went in to buy/return some games, the employees were super chill and beyond helpful. Helped me use a deal that allowed me to get two free games, so honestly one of the best customer service experience I've had. Especially at a game store.”
