“My wife and I went in just to test a couple of different mattresses. We were met by Syed. He was very helpful took his time answered all our questions and gave us a deal we could not refuse.. We have the bed for about two weeks now and we love it. We ended up getting a Beautyrest black series hybrid series one Syed told me that they sell furniture, so I just went back today and purchased a sofa from him as well. “I had a great experience at Mattresses Firm thanks to Emad , the sleep expert, I came in to look for a pillow because I’ve been dealing with some neck pain. Emad took the time to really understand my situation instead of just trying to sell me something. He asked the right questions about my sleep position and the kind of discomfort I’ve been having, and based on that, he recommended a pillow that turned out to be exactly what I needed.
What stood out the most was how knowledgeable and patient he was. He explained the differences between options in a way that was easy to understand, and I never felt rushed or pressured. It genuinely felt like he cared about helping me find the right solution rather than just making a sale.
The pillow he recommended has already made a noticeable difference for my neck pain, and I really appreciate his guidance.”

“Unlike other furniture stores, Erik greeted me when I walked in then let me know where to find him if I had questions. He asked if it was ok to check in with me in 15 minutes or so but otherwise left me alone. 🙌🏾 He was exceptionally knowledgeable about every piece in the store so I didn't have to show him what I was asking about. He let me use his tape measure so I could figure out if things would fit in the space without hesitation (& wasn't frustrated by the multiple asks). I was super impressed that he was willing to negotiate on a price so we got a great deal on gorgeous furniture pieces.
There's lots of cool pieces, furniture and decor, that I fell in love with. I'll definitely be back for the next sale.

She quickly offered an alternative design using a desk that could be configured to the size we need, added chairs in the same style, proposed fabrics for the chairs, and developed pricing. She listened carefully and helped us analyze alternatives. After further consideration we decided on a different solution.”
“I am having difficulty adjusting the firmness of my bed. My app gave me a number to call for assistance. The Number connected me with my local store in East Hanover, New Jersey. James answered and explained that he’s a sales person, but would help me as much as he could. He was terrific. He worked with me for over 45 minutes trying different things . Unfortunately, nothing worked. He finally sent me a number for Customer Service. That number is different from the Customer Service number I had been given previously so I now have two ways to try and get more help. James, it’s a very pleasant and hard-working employee.”

“I’ve purchased multiple pieces of furniture from Value City Furniture over the years, roughly from 2019 through 2024, so I’m very familiar with this location. In the past, the shopping experience sometimes felt a little overwhelming with employees closely following customers around the store. However, during my most recent visit, I noticed a completely different approach — and honestly, it made a huge difference.
The staff acknowledged me when I walked in but allowed me the space to browse comfortably. I was able to take my time walking through the showroom, sit in chairs, try out recliners, and really picture how different pieces might fit into my home without feeling pressured. That level of freedom created a relaxed environment and made the experience far more enjoyable.
I truly believe more furniture stores should adopt this model. Many shoppers come in with ideas or inspiration but aren’t quite ready to make a decision. Sometimes you just need to see it, sit in it, and experience it for yourself before asking for assistance. Knowing help is available without it being forced on you is the perfect balance.
Although I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for this time, the visit reinforced why I’ve continued to shop here over the years. The improved customer experience did not go unnoticed.
I will absolutely be back when the right piece comes along..

“I have been buying furniture and accessories from Michael Anthony furniture for 20 years now. This is my go to place!
The customer service and the quality can’t be beat.
I recently ordered a high-end leather recliner from Michael and when it first came in, it was a little squeaky. And it got more and more squeaky. He had his furniture guy come and the manufacturer replaced the arm. That helped a little and then it was back to the squeaking.
Michael went to bat for us And Made sure the manufacturer replaced the piece of furniture!
I can’t say enough good things about Michael and his company! I wouldn’t buy furniture any place else

“This is by far my favorite boutique to shop at. Lisa and her workers are SO friendly and they always keep such a great rotation of things. My apartment is filled with so many beautiful pieces. She has everything priced very well. There’s nothing I hate more than antiquing and nothing is priced to sell. Lisa knows how to keep the shop up to date, beautiful and very inviting. My only complaint is that my own apartment isn’t big enough to fill it with more of her beautiful pieces. She has the best gifts for Mother’s Day, Christmas, any occasion you could think of.
