“My ford vehicle with a garbage 10r80 transmission broke (as expected). The staff were always courteous and explained everything that was going on with my vehicle. The tech was able to diagnose the problem without any check engine lights or codes in the computer. Unfortunately, i needed a new transmission but they installed it quickly and properly and had me on my way in a reasonable time frame. Pricing was in line with other local shops and while a big expense, it wasn’t excessive with extra bs fees. When i picked up my completed vehicle the girl at the front desk was super helpful and the tech came in to discuss in detail what they had to do to complete the job. Excellent work wd trans! Will be back! (Hopefully not soon)”
“I love this place. They are honest, fair, and thorough! That means so much when you need to trust someone to be fair. My entire family brings our cars here when needed!”
“Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable! Very good prices with exceptional, quick service. They explained what the inspection would entail and & answered any questions I had. I highly recommend Schafer’s for any automotive service!”
“I was just there for a repair on my Mercedes, needed a new starter. Fast service and car runs great, without R&R there is no way I could afford repairs at a Mercedes dealership. Always a great experience, I love the new look of the office it's very comfortable. No question in my opinion personable and great service.”

“Yesterday I got back from vacation and my truck battery was dead. My neighbor helped me jump it and I was able to make it to North Evergreen before it died at the intersection. The guys at the shop brought out a jump box and helped me across the street. It was 15 minutes before close and they installed a new battery for me in that time. Lucky I died out front of First Choice Auto Repair & Tire Center. Thanks again.”
“I’ve been going here for years. I trust what they tell me and I never feel ripped off. They just installed struts and shocks on my pathfinder and the shock had a manufacture fault. They replaced the shock quickly. The entire staff at Werbany made sure I was safe and replaced what needed replacing without any further charge. Gotta live an auto place that’s trustworthy. I’ll be continuing my patronage for many more years to come I hope.”
“The service and employees were great,I had a recall on my 2018 mitsubichi outlander and they also scan in your way in, car needed alignment, which was accurate had it done while I was there and it did not took long at all.”

“Another great experience here. Came in with a brake and possible suspension issue. It was stumping me even after prompting AI. Ed's guesses lined up with with what AI was saying but he said it was still a guess and didnt want me spending $1000 on a guess. A couple more symptoms showed, I told Ed and it solidified his first hunch. Really thankful for his patience and care and not gouging me on the price. Car is in top shape now. Thanks Ed!”
