Once Upon A Child in Maple Shade is a consignment shop with a huge inventory of children's clothes up to size 20. The store is well organized, with many items in great condition and some that are new. Shoppers find lots of great stuff and reasonably priced garments, noting great sales. It is described as well worth it for finding clothes at a great price, especially for children who quickly outgrow or ruin them. The store buys items, offering payment or store credit. Selling is considered hit or miss, with some success and other times not. The amount received can seem small, but the drop-off process is seen as less hassle than selling individually. The staff is generally noted as super friendly, patient, helpful, nice, and quick with returns. However, customer service is also described as not great by some, and the store is very busy. Those selling should plan to drop off items early and expect a wait of approximately six hours for an offer. Some shoppers are slightly put off by pricing on certain brands and have occasionally found broken items. Overall, many customers love the store and plan to return.
The store is well organized and has a huge inventory. This is my 3rd visit and the staff is super friendly, patient, and helpful. I sell items. Yes, the amount I get back seems small, but dropping off is less hassle than trying to sell individually on fb marketplace.
