“Short back story, me and my family were displaced from a house fire. We were recommended to Lakes Appliance through our contractor. The manager Scott sat down with us and took the time out to see what we needed and what we wanted. After making our selections he was able to give us everything cheaper than what major department stores were offering for the appliances. On the day of delivery the guys were on time and carried everything inside the house for our contractor to install. Once our power was restored to the property our dryer wasn’t powering on but without hesitation the manager Scott setup a replacement delivery for the dryer. On the day of the 2nd delivery the guys were on time and swapped out the inoperable dryer with the new one. They really went above and beyond what they were responsible for by stacking our drying, reconnecting the brackets and the gas and vent. If ever you are in the need for new appliances i would 100% recommend Lakes Appliance! Thank you!”

Talk about someone who remembers everything about your last conversation and picks up right where you left off the next time he sees you! It was no wonder my kids latched on to him right away. He is so kind, and is genuinely invested in not only the projects we're completing, asking to see photos, but in my personal goals and aspirations. He's my own personal Home Depot cheerleader as I'm applying to medical school in the next few years! I came into the store one time to check-in and found Ethan on hold trying to find a solution to my issue. The timing was perfect and it shows that even when the customer isn't present, they are actively working on your behalf at the Berlin location!*XIOMARA* is an angel woman in customer service that makes me feel special every time she sees me. Between the sweet "hello, how are you!?", everytime I walk in, even when I'm not paying attention, to her bubbly personality that immediately puts me in a better mood, we LOVE her!!Home Depot, Berlin, you really know how to hire them! Truly the BEST team I've seen in one location in a LONG time. As a military spouse who travels the world and renovates every home she lives in, AND whose favorite store IS Home Depot, I've been to a lot of locations, and I've interacted with a lot of employees. “Good parking. Still seems a bit on the nose for prices. Now let me stress this a bit. When I was there, it was Sunday at noon. So no one was around. Kinda feels like area the store was opened is one big product placement, you know pray hard $1 off your next print cartridge.”

“Let me tell you something...my wife and I have been searching low and high, near and far for outdoor Halloween decorations. The animatronic stuff was put out right around Labor Day, which seemed far too early only...to find out I needed to fall just short of selling my body or going on the dark web to find any more, because they sell so quickly. So I end up buying a six foot LED willow tree for Halloween online only to get an email telling me it was canceled while halfway there. Annoyed, we call customer service. That's when we get Wanda on the phone. Wonderful, darling Wanda. Wanda tells us we should have been called regarding the cancellation, but that unfortunately, the trees and cauldron we were looking for were not available. It gets stranger. Wanda then actually checks. Didnt just say 'no we dont and have a nice night,' which she could have...she LOOKED. And found what we were looking for. Plus the rest we couldnt find anywhere else. THEN calls us back to tell us!!! Madness! My point, they walked with hundreds of my dollars in the form of LED willow trees and a cauldron because of customer service. Almost entirely because of customer service. The experience could very well have been negative, but because of someone doing the extra part, they have not only my business but my respect, and the world could use more of that s*** right now!”

She understood my problem and she promised to take of it she said she throughly investigate it. Got back to me an hour later and found out UPS lost it. She reordered the grill for me and put a rush on it and gave me a discount for reordering it. She is the best employee at Home Depot I want to thank her for gold star customer service.
