I had the most delightful visit to this post office, thanks to Anthony! His warm and friendly demeanor made the experience truly memorable. He went above and beyond to help us set up a passport for our newborn, even taking the passport photos with such care. Anthony’s jolly attitude and exceptional customer service made the process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this post office for its outstanding service!”

“Unfortunately I don’t know her name. Was there today Wednesday Sept 17 th approximately 3pm. She was soooo nice, and sooo helpful. Moved to Rockaway 6 months ago and still trying to find our way around. Have been in post office before but never met this very kind and knowledgeable lady. I was a little frustrated with the day I had and had to get a money order which I didn’t know bank does not do.They told me to go to post office. So I proceeded to post office. She was soooo nice and helpful. Didn’t know what to expect because being new in the area I thought “ great another aggravating situation “. “Shawnt’e was extremely polite and helpful today! She hands down gave my girlfriend the best customer experience to date with the post office. She provided excellent service and possessed the knowledge to make sure our package arrived at the time we needed it to. And at the best possible price. We were quoted as having to spend almost $200, to have the same delivery service done by FedEx. We spent nowhere near that, and our package is expected to be there exactly when we want it to. I would absolutely recommend this Post Office to anyone in the area. Thanks again to Shawnt’e!”

“I had a problem with a missing parcel. The gentleman in the post office followed up with me twice in 48 hours. He was polite, and really diligent about finding the package. He sent mail carrier on Saturday to recheck for pkg and they found it in wrong mailbox.

The automated phone system is efficient despite being impersonal—I had a mail issue resolved quickly through an online form. Staff here used to feel cold and indifferent, but there’s been a noticeable shift lately. A kind older Asian woman who rotates between locations brings warmth to the service. Staff turnover seems high, and while they may be short-staffed, hiring doesn’t appear active.
Lines vary depending on the time and customer behavior, but I usually wait no more than 10 minutes. If the parking lot is full, expect a wait. The space is functional, though envelope selection is more limited than other nearby offices.”
