“I have been a member at 610 for about 6 months and I am beyond impressed with the facilities, equipment and cleanliness of the space. More than a beautiful & clean gym, I love the supportive environment and diverse community. Their people from all ages and skill levels and everyone trains with absolutely no judgement here. My trainer constantly pushes me to become my strongest self and results don’t lie. In just this short time I have been able to increase my overall strength , stamina and technique. Best of all I have reached new personal records and set new goals! Whether you are a newbie or more advanced, there is a training solution at this gym for whatever your needs. I highly recommend you give it a try.”
“Jabz changed my workout life! From an accommodating range of class times, 7 days a week to daily workouts mapped out for me! I love working out but I'm not good at mapping a workout regimen fit for me. JABZ does that for me which makes working out more fun! The coaches are my favorite part of my workout! From music selection to coaching in a way that motivates each and everyone in the class, not to mention the constant encouragement to push myself to my limits! Don't worry if you don't get it or can't do a specific workout, the coaches will guide you to find a fit for you! Thank you Coaches for your constant support and motivation!”

“I’m coming up on 1 year at Loyalty, after working out at a commercial gym for 5 years. I hurt myself lifting in 2020 and needed a herniated disc removed. After it finally healed I gained a ton of weight and needed to workout again. In my 1 year at CrossFit Loyalty I’ve lost 40lbs and I’m stronger than I was before my injury.Justin, along with the other coaches, helped me work around my injuries and get me to where I’m at today.”
“Such a welcoming community and supportive environment for people at any part of their fitness journey. There are so many things I couldn’t do when I first started in 2020 that I can now!!! The coaches really care and believe in you and the entire community feels like a family. Everyone is supportive of each other, not just in the gym, but outside of it too.”
“If you're thinking about it, do it. The coaches are great. I do better with exercise when I have someone telling me what to do. Each coach has their own style and they get to know you and their goals. They push you and actually care about you which is nice. OTF also have fun challenges constantly and overall it's just a great atmosphere. The music is great and the other members are so nice too. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience.”

“I absolutely love Solstice! The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and motivating. The workouts are intense but effective, and the community here is supportive and friendly. “What a difference a couple of weeks can make. In any aspect of life, the unexpected can occur for better or for worse. For some, to go to the gym, it's about getting in the right mindset. You may need a person who pushes you- to kickstart your own drive. Asking for help is OK. What went wrong at CKO South Philly, I take accountability for, because, like most things in life, if you want it done, you need to take initiative, and ownership. Few people are empathic, and less are available when you need help. That's life, and reality. This isn't a gym where seeing another exercising longer, or lifting more weight leaves you feeling low. CKO SOUTH PHILLY is kickboxing gym that "helps you achieve fitness goals and RELIEVE STRESS by TAKING IT OUT ON THE BAG"! The gym is clean, and sanitary. The staff is dedicated to ensure so. The members are as diverse as the staff. Everyone is focused, cordial, and aiming towards achieving a common goal. A week prior to my 1st class, I received personal texts to offer assistance. The most valuable texts, occurred during the 1st week. They were UNEXPECTED, ENCOURAGING, as are words of affirmations on walls across the gym. Texts showed care, and thoughtfulness. From business and psychology standpoints, they were a smart value add, and provided a boost to my psyche, that I needed. Who knew messages would push me to drive 25 minutes over going to the gym, I never utilized, 2 floors below? The texts were ingenious marketing, and optimized fitness effectiveness- a personal touch, and market differentiator. I was HIGHLY impressed, and expressed such to the owner. My first 2 classes were both led by Stacey- she's amazing! 1st class, "Kickboxing & Resistance", integrates kickboxing with a resistance band around your ankles along with combined revolving movements from punches, kicks, jumping jacks, squats, planks, pushups, etc. My 2nd class with Stacey, "Kickboxing & Conditioning"- incorporated kickboxing with strength training. In addition to an assortment of punches and kicks at the bag, done in repetitions, you push/kick the bag with your hands, feet, weights, the bag, with stretching at the start and last portion of class A class I highly recommend, especially for beginners, is CKO Technique: Skills and Drills. Ray Reese, an outstanding instructor, begins and ends with stretching, and teaches you the fundamentals of kickboxing. Repetitions of punches and kicks have you constantly in movement, raising your heart rate, and working on 2 bags. As class progresses, so does the pace, the mixture of punches, kicks, action work to the bag with your forearms, and knees, pushing the bag, rotating feet and arms. Positioning alters from in front of bags, between 2, moving from a starting place, rotating moves, right to left, and returning where you started- all continually modified repetitions. You'll kick from behind, side, and at different heights on the bags. The last portion, with lights off, is akin to the final lap of a race- shifting between bags, legs, and arms, combinations, forces change from 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 95%, called out at any moment by Ray. Speed, and changing momentum ensure a maximal workout. The texts set a belief that the gym affords a thoughtful, and caring approach. When texts ceased, I became dejected, canceled all but 4 classes in my 1st 3 weeks. My mindset went back to where it was, prior to ever contacting the gym. My desire to attend, and renew halted. Weight that quickly shed began to come back, from no exercise. It must be routine! What made the gym distinguished, and a unique inspiration departed abruptly. It's disappointing on many levels, no fault to any fantastic instructor. A standard was set that no longer existed. Motivation, solely, must be my own. Self-inspired in other aspects of my life, it was eye-opening. Your mental health, is as important as your physical! Both are stigmatized in society. I'll end my last 10 days a better version of myself than I began, and continue at a new gym...without ”

“Best gym of all time. I hold every other one to this. The owner is always updating equipment and making sure things are taken care of. Members lift heavy and know what they are talking about. If I ever have a question, need help with a lift or training advice I can find it easily. 10/10.”

“First time here, very convenient & nostalgic. Great old school vibes & every equipment option available! Looking forward to becoming a regular… thanks Kelvin! Congratulation big boss!!”
“I always loved the rec center when I went to Rowan. The gym is solid and has been renovated within the past few years. Basketball court is open most of the time, staff is nice, pool is nice, everything is pretty clean. Anecdotally, it's one of those places I feel pretty nostalgic about now that I'm out of college and in the real world”

“I am not a gym person! Barbells freak me out and yet, I’ve enjoyed being a part of this gym/ community for almost 2 years. George, Maura, Jessa, Gina and all the other coaches are endlessly patient and encouraging. They will find movements and modifications that fit for everyone. I’ve done a lot of different workout routines in my life and this is the strongest, most in shape I’ve ever been. Highly recommend.”
“Great strength building programming and coaching!! The trainers listen to your goals and help make plans to accomplish them. The community is very friendly as well.”

“With a small parking lot and small facility, you might be able to socialize but you might be coming in just to work out and then leaving as in pretty much any place. This place is cash only and let's you pay lump sum and will waive enrollment fee if so. More places are starting to offer the lump sum option now instead of me having to ask for it. I was looking for a gym for one month but it is tough because either I am paying an enrollment fee AND one month which isn't worth it at all, or I pay by the class and some places have very limited hours. I could probably do Planet again or even Orange Theory but I was hoping to find a more local place. If this place was a closer commute for me, it would be worth it for me to sign up for a year. I want a self paced place since most places are either you get pushed and if you take a break or go too slow, you have to leave or are asked what is wrong with you. Everyone has different needs and wants. Or I do not have a budget for a personal trainer and some of the ones I have had at chain gyms are really particular about who they want to work with, and paying in full beforehand is not always enough sadly. I have a gym reimbursement fund but I have used it up for the year and that is a factor that is important to me too. At the end of the day, I understand that part of a gym experience (for me) is picking a place that will not overly stress me out. Accessibility and getting for what I paid's worth and all the peculiarities are important to me. You can't get 24-7 access unless you pay for a full year. This was probably the biggest clincher for me. Also as it is a small community atmosphere gym, holiday hours are not necessarily reflected on signs and website. You just have to ask or make it work. It is also cash only. 12/22/23 addition: When I first came to ask about enrollment options during hours, they were closed early for that and I got an announcement through the Ring bell to come back the next day, which thankfully I could. When I came back the next day, I was told a little story about how a "bum" came up one time just fiddling around with the door like nobody's business. Then, when the owner spoke through the Ring bell, the "bum" thought Jesus had spoken to him and he behaved himself after that! The joy of technology!! In my opinion, this is a good gym choice if you want a self paced workout and can pay in full for the year for the 24-7 access. Also, if you aren't looking for something that has a clean and polished look, which I don't need but I am open to either way, this is a good choice.”

“I’ve been a member of CrossFit 1Force for just over two months, and I felt welcomed from the start. I love the smaller class sizes and the 6am option, which fits perfectly with my busy schedule and keeps me accountable. The coaches pay attention to everyone’s skill level, and each workout can be easily modified without judgment. Overall, it’s a very positive atmosphere and a great way to start off the day.”
“My four year Anniversary is coming up with working out at Customized Phitness and it's the best decision I have ever made. Thanks to Marcus, I am in the best physical shape I think I have ever been in and the smallest I've been since before having children. He cares about the whole person as seen with the passion he has for fitness and nutrition. Marcus is happy to share this knowledge with whoever wants to listen and better themselves. I never would have thought I'd say this but I hate when life or work get in the way and I have to miss a morning at the gym. I highly recommend you come join us! Great people, clean facility, never the same workout, good for all fitness levels and with one of the best trainer's out there!”
“It's not a state of the art facility but it has an incredible staff and members. Everyone is nice, welcoming and happy to give advices, you can do your own workout without interacting with a soul or socialise while working out.”

“This location is one of my favorites that I’ve been too! It’s got all the free weights, machine weights, cardio equipment, you could ask for! They also got a basketball court and have volleyball a couple nights week as well! There’s fitness classes, functional training turf area, pool, jacuzzi, sauna and personal training! This is literally a one-stop-fitness-shop! The staff are friendly and nice as well! The gym is beautiful and very clean! Highly recommend! 10/10! Ask for the GM, his name is Steve! He is very helpful and always there to help, but if he’s not there to help you out, ask for Mark or Jaden! Those guys are awesome too!”
“Well equipped old school gym. Great combination of free weights and machines. Clean facilities and professional staff. Convenient location with ample parking. More personality than the chain gyms you see all over the place. Highly recommended”
“Nice to be able to consistently give a great review on the location I have been going to for 9 years. Staff and facility is wonderful. Keep the monthly membership fee low.”
“I found Thrive Fitness in the winter of 2021 and have attended more than 1,000 group fitness classes since. I absolutely love the classes at Thrive, both the members who attend and the workout program make the classes fun and enjoyable. The coaches are incredibly knowledgable and will ensure that each members get individualized attention and support as needed. What I’ve appreciated the most about my time at Thrive is a fitness program that allows for progression. Each class is designed to challenge and improve your overall fitness which makes it great for all levels. I highly recommend checking out Thrive Fitness if you are looking for a supportive environment to build strength and get fit!”
