“This place is the best and I mean it I had a emergency visit for ford my dachshund got him right in did not over charge me or anything gave him the right treatment and he was back to normal in 2 days I don’t take my dog to the vet unless I am scared and he is really sick and he was thank you for keep ford happy and healthy and back to barking you guys are the best!!!! “Providence Animal Hospital, and especially Michelle from Providence, are the BEST! I’m out of the country and my dog was taken to VEG in Philadelphia… I called Michelle and providence to get their opinion on my dog’s condition, and she was the nicest person and did everything she could to help figure out the best plan of care for my dog. It meant so much to me that Michelle genuinely cared that much about my dog and did everything she could to help, unlike some of the people at VEG. Not even kidding, Michelle’s bosses should triple her salary and give her a 3 month paid vacation… SHE IS THE BEST!!!”
“I have been taking my pup there since we got her at 12 weeks of age. Everybody there has been amazing from front desk to the vet, Dr Flasik. I probably called them dozens time for any worries that I have about my pups They are very quick to respond for all my concerns. They’re very friendly and kind to our pup that make her always happy to go see them.

We were charged half as much as other vets for standard checkups and a tenth for spaying. With no sacrifice of quality. Reservations tend be available a month or so later when you call, so plan ahead and book early.”

“My cat is not a patient at Just For Cats, but they were so incredibly helpful to me and my cat when I was desperately searching for a bag of her special diet food. My cat’s food at her regular vet was out of stock, my delivery order of her food was delayed, and my cat was running out of food. I called and emailed dozens of vets in the Philly/Greater Philly area, and Just For Cats was the only one willing and able to help me and my cat, even though she is not a patient with them. Without their help, my cat would’ve run out of her special diet food and I would’ve been at a loss for what to do. I am so grateful for their help, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate practice for their cat.”

Amber is our neighborhood stray. I know him because he frequently shows-up and I feed him. This day he showed up with a gulf ball size wound on his head. I immediately took him to BPH in CC Philadelphia. They wasted no time admitting and caring for him. They treated Stray Amber as if he was one of their own! The staff and service is exemplary! -mdc”

“Simmons deserves 100 stars. Great neighborhood vet with a compassionate, experienced, and professional staff.It cost us ~$200 total without any insurance to get our 2 cats their checkup, and we were out the door in less than 45 minutes. The vet has a great touch with cats and was able to keep both of ours calm despite some necessary medical man-handling!Don't come here looking for easy parking - visit for the best neighborhood vet you could ever want.”

“Dr. Kwon just blew my mind with his vet skills. I have never seen my dog act so calm at a vet before. As soon as Dr Kwon came into the room, he sat on the floor to greet my dog. He spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and then did NOT try to nickle and dime me at the end like my last vet did.

“Recently switched to Unity after a bad experience with my previous vet. My bulldog had been getting reoccurring skin infections and experienced hair loss over most of his body. Got an appointment quite quickly and as soon as Dr. Trow saw him she immediately relayed that she thought that he had Cushings Syndrome. After an 8 hour test the results did come back positive for Cushings. She quickly put him on a treatment plan and it's been a little over a month and he's doing much better. His hair is growing back, his sores are almost non-existent and he's even lost a few pounds. God bless Dr. Trow, she literally saved my dogs life.”

“Our first visit went very well. Dr. Mengine and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr Mengine was very thorough with my dog Lola's exam. She patiently listened to all the information I had to share about my dogs health and former treatments from another veterinary clinic. She offered me a detailed explanation of my dogs test results from the last few months and came up with a new plan for us. My dog was given high blood pressure medicine and prescription dog food and expensive supplements from the last vet and Dr. Mengine explained why they were unnecessary. She did more blood work, but only a very specific kind that didn't cost as much. She promised to call me with the results if they require follow up. I was recommended to this office from my friend/neighbor and I am so glad I tried them. Hopefully Lola will get a clean bill of health shortly, and I can be relieved of worry and unnecessary costs.”
“I've been going to RVAH for over 10 years. They are competent and caring professionals. They've taken very good care of a cat and 2 dogs now. I read the full reviews of the 3 people who gave poor ratings. One said they hung up after waiting (a whole) 5 minutes on hold and were indignant about having to wait to be seen once they arrived when they were granted an emergency appointment for their pet that wasn't even a patient normally at the hospital. Apparently they were so rude and belligerent they were denied service. As a nurse I can empathize with staff having to deal with that gem of a family member of the patient. #2 was mad the doctor had to postpone a neuter because of the dog's dental issue needing to be fixed first. Number three was pissed they needed to make an appointment to have their dog receive medication. How many doctors you know treat patients without seeing them first? Vets don't have crystal balls. Vets are DOCTORS of animal medicine. Just like people, sometimes pet appointments don't go as planned because they find things unexpectedly that take priority or take longer than planned. It's a hospital, not a hair salon or a fast food drive thru. Do you want good thorough care or an assembly line? If it's good thorough care then take your furbaby here.”
“This is the first time on owning a pet and I have been making a few calls to a couple different vets to get prices and stuff for services, but when I called Glencroft veterinarian hospital, the young lady Savanna answered the phone very well mannered and made me a part of the vet family as soon as I started talking to her! She was very polite, answered all my questions and gave me extra knowledge that I didn't know about really made me feel welcome. We need more people likes Savanna this world!!”

Dr. Reisner was responsive and had a great website to learn more info about services rendered.The wait times across the country are atrociously long (some had wait times of 6-8 months), so I was excited to hear about just a 6 week wait to have my dog be seen.Once I have our appointment, I will update the review. So far, so good though. ? Excited to get support for my little guy.”
