“I have to say the manager (excuse the spelling) Kaleel, saves this Home Depot location of a 1 star review. He is exceptional and from reading the other reviews it seems Home Depot needs to weed out people to have more employees like him..I had been searching for a new front door using the Home Depot ap and found the one I wanted. It said there were 2 in stock in south Plainfield so instead of buying on the ap I went directly to the store to look at the door in person. While looking for the door, I noticed a lot of their stock had dings and scratches all over them. Either way could not find the door I was looking for so asked one of the guys sitting in the door department. He searched high and low and could not find the door so told me he could place an order for it, they will search the entire store and pick the item for me and if not order another one for me. So I purchased it and went home. The next day I tried calling to see if the door was in and the phone just kept ringing. So I sent a text to the customer service chat in the Home Depot ap. That person ended up getting through to the store and she found out that they had cancelled my order. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They never reached out to even say they cancelled it which is the messed up part. Kaleel was very nice and called around to other stores and tried to make the situation right. I was on the phone for awhile and he said that if he could get through to the other stores he would give me a call back. Which he did.”

He takes the time to explain which tools are good and which ones will work best for what I need. The tools he recommended have worked great for me, and I really appreciate his knowledge and honesty. What stands out the most is his attitude. Dan is always respectful, patient, and genuinely wants to help people. Employees like him are what make customers want to come back to Home Depot. Dan deserves recognition, a raise, and opportunities to move forward in his career. I truly hope management sees how valuable he is and gives him the opportunities he deserves. “Quinn for the Win!! I went into Best Buy today- completely unfamiliar with laptops and cell phones. Quinn McAuliffe saw me struggling and approached me with a smile. He spent a tremendous amount of time with me- listening to my needs and wants, showing me what options would work and explained everything in clearly and in way that someone with no knowledge of computers, could understand. He exuded warmth and confidence, you could tell right away. He was competent and truly cares. It is only because of him, his care, excellent customer service and knowledge that I made up my mind to purchase a phone and a laptop through Best Buy.”

“I have no choice but to love The Home Depot because I'm there several times a week looking for ways to improve my indoor as well as outdoor living space. If I can't find it in the store, I can usually find it in online. I will say the culture of Home Depot has changed over the years, the workers aren't as eager toVoluntarily offer assistance, I do miss that because this store can be quite intimidating to some (like myself @ times). If you inquire assistance the people are usually pretty friendly. In terms of pricing I think they're pretty reasonably priced in comparison to their competitor, which I also patronize quite often; but since Home Depot is right around the corner from me, it's one of my most visited spots. Best of all, the lines are never to long, the staff will move you along very quickly. All I can say about Home Depot is, "What's not to love?"”
