“I have to say the manager (excuse the spelling) Kaleel, saves this Home Depot location of a 1 star review. He is exceptional and from reading the other reviews it seems Home Depot needs to weed out people to have more employees like him..I had been searching for a new front door using the Home Depot ap and found the one I wanted. It said there were 2 in stock in south Plainfield so instead of buying on the ap I went directly to the store to look at the door in person. While looking for the door, I noticed a lot of their stock had dings and scratches all over them. Either way could not find the door I was looking for so asked one of the guys sitting in the door department. He searched high and low and could not find the door so told me he could place an order for it, they will search the entire store and pick the item for me and if not order another one for me. So I purchased it and went home. The next day I tried calling to see if the door was in and the phone just kept ringing. So I sent a text to the customer service chat in the Home Depot ap. That person ended up getting through to the store and she found out that they had cancelled my order. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They never reached out to even say they cancelled it which is the messed up part. Kaleel was very nice and called around to other stores and tried to make the situation right. I was on the phone for awhile and he said that if he could get through to the other stores he would give me a call back. Which he did.”

“I want to give a special shout-out to Dan at Home Depot. He is honestly one of the best employees I have ever met. He is extremely friendly, patient, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile not just for me, but for everyone around him I work as a mechanic, and Dan has helped me choose the right tools for my work. He takes the time to explain which tools are good and which ones will work best for what I need. The tools he recommended have worked great for me, and I really appreciate his knowledge and honesty. What stands out the most is his attitude. Dan is always respectful, patient, and genuinely wants to help people. Employees like him are what make customers want to come back to Home Depot. Dan deserves recognition, a raise, and opportunities to move forward in his career. I truly hope management sees how valuable he is and gives him the opportunities he deserves. He has the potential to go very far.

The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find the item I was looking for. The associates were friendly and helpful, offering to assist me in finding the right size tarp for my needs. The tarp itself was of good quality and reasonably priced. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit to Home Depot and would recommend it to others in need of home improvement supplies.”
