“I have to say the manager (excuse the spelling) Kaleel, saves this Home Depot location of a 1 star review. He is exceptional and from reading the other reviews it seems Home Depot needs to weed out people to have more employees like him..I had been searching for a new front door using the Home Depot ap and found the one I wanted. It said there were 2 in stock in south Plainfield so instead of buying on the ap I went directly to the store to look at the door in person. While looking for the door, I noticed a lot of their stock had dings and scratches all over them. Either way could not find the door I was looking for so asked one of the guys sitting in the door department. He searched high and low and could not find the door so told me he could place an order for it, they will search the entire store and pick the item for me and if not order another one for me. So I purchased it and went home. The next day I tried calling to see if the door was in and the phone just kept ringing. So I sent a text to the customer service chat in the Home Depot ap. That person ended up getting through to the store and she found out that they had cancelled my order. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They never reached out to even say they cancelled it which is the messed up part. Kaleel was very nice and called around to other stores and tried to make the situation right. I was on the phone for awhile and he said that if he could get through to the other stores he would give me a call back. Which he did.”

“Edit/Update idk what happened since my last review but 10/10 I love this store. There is literally an employee not to far from you and its so warm and welcoming in there.

There should be no reason... a large dog... is in the store..no it's not a service or a medical Animal just someone's pet ?. I'm pregnant and had 2 small children with me. Why didn't anyone tell him to stop and not bring the dog inside of the store. What if he bite a worker no muzzle no. nothing like smh.”

“I recently visited Home Depot in Edison on rt 1to purchase a plastic tarp and overall had a positive experience. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find the item I was looking for. The associates were friendly and helpful, offering to assist me in finding the right size tarp for my needs. The tarp itself was of good quality and reasonably priced. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit to Home Depot and would recommend it to others in need of home improvement supplies.”
