“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”

“I'm a north Jersey native. Moved to Kansas a year ago and really miss my Taylor Ham egg, cheese, SPK sandwiches. I've known about this site for probably about 10 years because I lived in Kansas before and only made it to NJ once a year.
Made a purchase of 12 boxes of Pork Roll from them last week. It shipped on Monday, I received it Wednesday. I was concerned because while it's still cool out east, in Kansas it decided it wanted to be 90 degrees today. The box arrived, product was wrapped in insulation, ice packs were still partially frozen, the meat was cool. Probably like refrigerator cold maybe a little warmer but I'm not worried about it. I don't believe it reached any concerning temp due to how well it was packaged. The shipping is pricey but def not Jersey Pork Roll's fault, that's just what happens when you express ship things. Besides if you really want Pork Roll the cost is irrelevant. I will def buy from them again.
The literal only issue I had and it wasn't even with the product or the company was the FedEx driver delivered it, left it outside my door in the blistering sun and didn't knock, ring the doorbell, nothing, but that's his usually MO. Thankfully I was home and heard him drop it from 3 feet high outside my door and was able to bring it in right away. Next time I'm probably gonna order it in the winter, but regardless I will def be buying from them again when this shipment runs out!”
