“**editing to add another experience four years later**
We just bought a bed from the Phillipsburg location and honestly it was made a breeze thanks to Alex. Alex really worked with us to get us the best deal and to make sure we were happy! There was an oops where the wrong bed was sent (a firm was sent, not a medium) but honestly we over looked it on the receipt as well and we all just missed it- accidents happen and it’s an easy fix! But, I sent an email this morning and he responded right away before they were even open to ensure they’d be sending the correct bed tomorrow (a Sunday!) and it wouldn’t count as our exchange if we end up not liking the bed.
10/10 this whole experience was great and I highly recommend going to see Alex in Phillipsburg, nj.
My husband and I looked at numerous furniture stores looking for a comfy and affordable recliner for our nursery! We had NO luck until we stopped at Raymour and Flanigans! I was hesitant to stop with a new baby due in February and always assuming their prices were expensive. BUT, they have a great sale going on right now! So we stopped by and we were greeted by Joe Attinello. And I’ll say, he was a breathe of fresh air in this crummy time! He was welcoming and not overbearing like a lot of sales people are, especially around Christmas time. And he actually took the time to listen to what we needed (electric close to not wake the sleeping baby, wall hugger because we don’t have the biggest room for the nursery and most importantly- staying in budget). He spent a good hour/hour and a half with us, trying well over 25 different chairs. And never once seemed annoyed or bothered by our pickiness. We ended up finding the perfect recliner! All thanks to him. If we could give him more than 5 stars, we would! So if you need a new piece of furniture, I suggest going to see Joe at the Phillipsburg, NJ location!”

Notepads, great candles and candle holders.A wide variety of cards and coasters. Something for everyone. If I had my own vehicle I would have loaded it with furniture as well. “This shop is our favorite place for gift giving and little home decor items for ourselves. There is always new merchandise and a great selection. Everything from jewelry to furniture and everything in between. Prices range from modest to high end but everything is priced reasonably for what it is. They also do a beautiful gift bag! Ask about the rewards program if you plan to stop in often. Good to follow them on Instagram for accurate hours.”
“Wonderful experience! We bought an old restored farmhouse in the area and wanted to find period pieces to go with our home because modern furniture doesn’t really suit the place and found 3 beautiful rockers at Chelsea Forge. We later went back and bought a stunning Kittinger credenza. This is such a hidden gem and I kind of want to keep it to myself because the selection is fabulous and the prices are so so good. The owner was lovely and so kind. She offered us espresso and even caramels. She’s so warm and friendly. Such a wonderful shopping experience and such a beautiful barn. We will definitely be back for more pieces! Thanks!”

“Bought my wife a handbag here for her birthday. It came with two straps, the one she liked the most broke, which of course it did. The owner of the shop sent me a bill of sale and I was able to get her vendor to ship me a replacement strap, all the way from Amsterdam. Thanks again for all of your help and standing by you customers. That is rare form in 2025.”

“Locations of pOpshelf are few and far between. The second closest one to us, if I’m not mistaken, is somewhere in Maryland. Yikes!
This is a super cute store. There are plenty of little knick knacks available, especially seasonal ones toward the holidays, and not at outrageous prices or anything.”
