“The best! We just held our annual Installation Dinner event at Forest Lodge and it was perfection! Anthony and the staff at Forest Lodge anticipate your every want and need and go above and beyond to fulfill it! This is the fourth event we have had at Forest Lodge- two picnics with a third scheduled for June, an outside formal dinner event at The Maple Grove pavilion and this one in the Sherwood Chalet- absolutely beautiful and each event has been more magical than before. We wanted a Valentine's Day themed event and Anthony decorated, attended to every small detail and even created a Valentine's Day themed drink menu! The staff even wore red ties to join in the festivities! The food was perfection and we have already booked again for next year! Thank you Anthony, you are the best! If you are looking for a venue for an event you will not be disappointed at Forest Lodge!”

“We had our 50th high school class reunion at the Somerville Elks Lodge BPOE #1068 and it was fantastic. The building is beautiful and very well kept. All facilities were spacious, clean and the staff was exceptional. Highly recommended for any type of gathering.”
“If I could give Supreme Eventz, Jay, and the whole staff there 10 stars, I would do so easily. We had my nieces Sweet 16 here on Feb. 28, and to say that we all had an amazing time is an understatement. From when we booked the venue back in July until our event in February, Jay was absolutely amazing. He never got annoyed with my 10,000 questions and easily answered each one. When we wanted to go and do an additional walk through, he was right there for us showing us around, answering an additional 10,000 questions. My sister in law and I are now thinking of reasons to host another event here because it was just so easy and effortless. The DJ was fire, bartender, and Steve, the emcee, were so kind, funny, and accommodating especially when things on the side weren’t going to plan. If you want to take a lot of hassle out of planning a party or event, this is the place to do it.”

“Double the fun! Got to shop for everything Lavender and see and feed an Alpaca all in one location. The small store is packed with goodies and my alpaca scarf is keeping me warm. Can’t wait to go back in summer to see the field of lavender. Unexpected fun!”
“I went for the Haunted Tavern cocktail experience. It's like a spooky ren faire show! I loved it, and I encourage dressing on theme when you go! I don't drink alcohol and they were very accommodating and made me my very own NA versions of the cocktails.”
“These"B.est P.eople O.n E.arth", really are! Last weekend(like they do every year) they opened their doors to host close to 400 cyclists, for the Hell of Hunterdon gravel classic. This "hosting" is no mean feat! MANY THANKS TO ALL AT THE ELK!”
“Great course, One of the rare public courses in NJ to have a Grass Driving Range. Course is in excellent condition and Staff is great. Greens were just aerated, but no big deal.”
“Had my daughter's birthday party here. It ended up being better than expected. The staff were excellent in making sure our needs were met and our party was happy. Khryi, the manager, met us and made it clear where we are setup and what to do. Nehemiah, our host, checked in often and made the whole thing stress free. We they even decorated the area around the lanes to make it feel extra special.
The food was fine, but there was plenty of it. As others have stated, it's string/marionetted bowling. So if you are looking for a more pro setup, this isn't it. However it's fine enough for a friend's night out or a party as we had.
I don't k ow about a random night out, but if you are looking to host an event here, think of it like top golf but with bowling. It really was a good time for my daughter and her friends and highly recommend!”

“We hosted a wedding hotel block at Courtyard Basking Ridge and the staff was so easy to work with and helped make our wedding weekend run so smooth. The events team was so accommodating, they even helped organize an accessible shuttle for our guests! Our guests also raved about breakfast at the bistro downstairs, overall our guests had an amazing experience and we could not be more grateful. Thanks Courtyard Basking Ridge staff!”

Our wedding was the most beautiful day, organized so precisely by the team. Annette was wonderful as the bridal assistant. We were spoiled rotten all day. Wilbur even helped set up the arch for us. Not only was windows on the water a fabulous venue. They became like family through the process, Personalizing your wedding to be exactly how you imagined. Highly highly recommend.”
