I’m not surprised this post office has only 2.5 stars. I’ve been to the Milltown location before, but during a recent visit I encountered a postal clerk who made a disrespectful comment to me. The experience was upsetting enough that I submitted a formal complaint — something I’ve never done before. While other staff have been courteous in the past, this interaction broke the tone I expect from USPS. I will not be returning to this location. If zero stars were possible, I would give it. Customer service matters — especially in public service — and tone awareness should be a priority.

Very curious - do people at USPS go through a special school on how to be rude and disrespectful to others?

There’s already an air of discontent and obstinance when you go in. And then I’m not surprised being met with resistance and the inability to assist me with the simplest task of mailing something. Apparently they don’t have the means nor the wherewithal to assist in printing a label or preparing a package with a pre-paid label. What’s the point of the post office at this point? Clearly it’s to become slightly annoyed with your day and be frustrated for nothing. Don’t bother going here. Go to the UPS store, pay the extra 5$ for printing and help, and forget the sad people at USPS.

The rudest people I have ever met. Always giving attitude when I am trying to simply drop off a package. I don’t go here anymore.

There are not enough stars to talk about the great service and help that I got from the woman that works at this post office. I needed to intercept a package and correct the zip code. Not only did she give me another area's telephone number but called
Me hours later to see how I had done. For the people who live there -you are lucky to have this person helping you. Laurie Leahy

I had a wonderful experience at the Milltown Post Office thanks to Tanya! She went above and beyond by hand-stamping all of my wedding invitations, which meant so much to me. Tanya is not only kind and personable—greeting every customer who walked through the door—but also incredibly knowledgeable about all things postal. Her attention to detail and warm demeanor made the whole process stress-free. It’s clear she truly cares about the people she helps.

I’m in that Post Office a few times a week for the last 24 years. The ignorance of the general public that leave those bad reviews for the staff at Milltown, have mental problems. It’s not a hair salon or a bar, or a place where these whining cry babies need to have postal workers fawn all over them. It’s a busy POST OFFICE. The tall black lady only has ONE working eye. She needs to focus with her magnifying glass on all the fonts on her screen, NOT exchange pleasantries with old shut ins or bored housewives who like to chat. If you distract her, with your non post office related yammering, she’ll have to start the process all over again if she makes a mistake. I watched her taking so much time with an OLD man that didn’t know what he was doing, that I thought I’d have to sit down. Even with the visual problem she comes to work and does her job. I’d have to yell at those dopey complainers everyday if I worked there. I shake my head every time I see the types of people they all have to deal with on a daily basis. I’m glad she’s working and not on some government assistant program because of her visual handicap. I’m over 70 years old and still work 5 days a week and this post office makes my day to day operations easier.

The receptionist was helpful and very kind to my daughter. She gave her a lollipop. No wait and they have lots of supplies for wrapping and shipping gifts. A large variety of Gift cards are available (visa, amex and dept stores.)

The older woman that works there is sweet. The other workers are horrible, especially the bigger lady with glasses. I asked her how she's doing. No response. Completely ignored me, then complained to her coworker. Next time I come in im not even gonna bat an eye.
Give the older woman a raise, fire the rest forever.

You can absolutely count on them to be rude every single time every worker is SO rude, they literally don't know how to speak to people and it baffles me how it seems like being rude is a requirement?? This is why I take all my business to UPS. When this place closes it'll be a brighter day

The lady who is visually impaired is so RUDE. Why let her do the customer service job if she doesn’t like to deal with customers?
