“After a long day of traveling, we arrived at our original hotel down the street only to find they had oversold and had no rooms left. I called Marriott at Forrestal Village and they were so accommodating. Aaron at the front desk was kind and got us into a lovely room. When we're back in the area this property will be our top choice.

Rooms: The room was clean and comfortable. It is not as updated as some Marriott properties but still fits the bill as a place to sleep at the end of a long day of traveling.

Safety: The hotel is in an isolated, safe location. I felt comfortable parking our car at night.”

“Really nice hotel. It's new (I visited May 2024) so not yet tired or worn out. They have an indoor pool and a ok gym with free weights and some cardio equipment. The breakfast is included with the room rate and is pretty good, fresh fruit, oat meal, orange juice, coffee and tea served all day. I liked it mostly because the rooms have a kitchen with a microwave, oven rings and all the pans to cook your own food as you want. The staff are really friendly, if you have a problem they will sort it. I will definitely stay here again.”

“Stayed here just one night for a trip to Six Flags. Getting to Six Flags was easy and convenient. There's restaurant options within a few minutes because we were hungry when we got there. The room was clean, updated, and the staff was friendly, even though we didn't really have much interaction. The breakfast is exactly what I expected, nothing fancy but filled our bellies. I did like that they had waffle makers. Those are always fun and tasty. And they even had strawberry topping. Also, our room was quiet, no highway noise or anything like that. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.”

“This is a great hotel in a great location. If you are traveling up and down the east coast it is a perfect location to stop for the night. Adding to the location the hotel is connected to another hotel with a restaurant. You do not need to get back into your car and find something to eat, it is right there. And the food was good.”

“Larger than a typical hotel room. Had conveniences you're not always sure if you're going to get (i.e., fridge, coffee maker: keurig, plenty of lighting, extra bedding materials, large couch & chair, decent sized desk, large dresser & roomy closet with slider-sized mirror, plenty of space around the bathroom sink & good-sized bathroom mirror, hairdryer, iron & board, shower with tub, and luggage holder) and an exit from the room to the outdoors (in place of enclosed patio) but more awesome because it's an entry door that you can use your room key to unlock.

Probably the best thing about this hotel was the included breakfast buffet in the morning - wow. Delicious! The second best thing? The Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake from the C-Bar (restaurant/bar inside the hotel). I could eat 10 of those. Honestly.

Wish I brought my bathing suit so I could've tried out their indoor saltwater pool!

If you want to know about tiny (minor nitpicking) details that weren't perfect? Pen in room looked sticky, tub didn't have grippy texture (almost fell when I got out for a second and tried to get back in), couple stains in carpet outside my room, and front desk person didn't know if c-bar restaurant (inside hotel) had dessert on the menu when I called them from my room to ask. The person said I would have to go there to find out - it's right next to the reception desk (vs. 4 to 5 hallway walk for me). On the brighter side (for my belly and wallet), I didn't know about the Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake the first night cause I would've probably had 15 of them by now.

Rooms: The great parts:

The not-so-great parts:

- Pen in room looked sticky
- Tub didn't have grippy texture (almost fell when I got out for a second and tried to get back in)
- There are a couple stains in carpet outside my room
- Front desk person didn't know if c-bar restaurant (inside hotel) had dessert on the menu when I called them from my room to ask. Safety: As the kind of person who is pretty vigilant about safety, I definitely felt more relaxed here compared to many other hotels I've visited. It's a couple miles out of the way (like 3 or 4 miles from shopping areas), in a largely grassy, campus-like area, and not on directly off a main road.

Food & drinks: Probably the best thing about this hotel was the included breakfast buffet in the morning - wow. Delicious! The second best thing? The Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake from the C-Bar (restaurant/bar inside the hotel). If you love Creme Brulee and the texture of Tiramisu, you will love this cake! Came with fresh strawberry slices, too!

Noteworthy details: The food alone makes this place worth it. I will probably be dreaming about the Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake for a few weeks.”

“This place was spectacular and comfy! The staff was nice. The rooms were modern and immaculate. You have to put your key in so that the lights function. The bathroom is super nice, only thing I would suggest is to replace the toilet paper for 2 ply rolls. Anyways, the rest I really liked seeing that the shower was super clean. The bed had great sheets. And for the room size it just felt very cozy. The A/C wasn't a wall unit. There's also a TV and fridge in the room. There is valet for those staying there. The trees outside are illuminated at night it looks like a fairytale. There's a restaurant and bar on site by Orchard Park, it's a bit pricey. But no worries, the hotel is also fairly close to other establishments. My stay was great.”

“Highly recommend this place which has the largest painting ever made by Norman Rockwell and that too behind a bar. It is an amazing painting and worth the price of a visit by itself. The gentleman who oversees this place was kind enough to give us postcards of the painting and I thank him for this gesture.”

“The rooms were quite good. But the kids itchen was closed mid-afternoon on a Saturday. That doesn't work. Also, the smaller North Tower elevator smelled like 1960. Horrible.”

“My boyfriend and I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful service every time we stay at your facility. About a week ago we both got food poisoned at a popular Princeton diner downtown and your front desk was able to help us get top notch accomodation and service, at the last unplanned minute. Also we would like to praise your breakfast staff for providing great food and service with a smile, every single time we stay at your hotel.”

“My initial experience was exceptional, exceeding all my expectations. Every aspect of the apartment was impeccably managed. The chef prepared excellent breakfasts, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was well-maintained, and the housekeeping services were commendable. Additionally, the receptionist was extremely helpful and cooperative. Overall, everyone performed their roles with great professionalism.

Another thing is that the environment was incredibly friendly, and I made many new friends with whom I loved to chat. Even other guests were pleasant, making my stay thoroughly enjoyable.”

“It's good for a stopover during a trip!! the room was clean enough, standard size and amenities quiet. Few but efficient and friendly staff gave us excellent suggestions on where to eat. Only downside: the breakfast included in the price was minimal!! few packaged products nothing freshly prepared eg eggs bacon etc.. shame in other hotels during the trip the breakfast has always been better.”

“Best Western SureStay is kind of a bare bones hotel. Nothing highly fancy but budget friendly, and pet friendly. The staff is very friendly and accommo-dating. Our room was clean and we were grateful for that. Best of all, there are two well-known restaurants that are very close which is convenient. We'd stay there again. Glad we found it.”

“I have been an occupant of this motel on and off for many years. I find the accommodations soul soothing, relaxing, clean and very quiet. The manager Roger and his beautiful wife have been running this motel for the last few years and have made significant improvements to the property and continue to bring forward appreciable changes. I love this place! Come one, come all! Check out NJ’s best kept secret.Rooms: Clean”

“Place was surprisingly clean. Had to stay somewhere due to no power at home. booked 2 rooms, one for my friends n their dog and our room. Well good thing was my friends dog couldn't even smell another animal had been in the room. Bedding was clean as well. Only thing is if you don't like extra firm or firm beds then skip here. Woke up with a stiff back from the mattress. Otherwise good cheaper place that's animal friendly.”

“This hotel has recently reopened as a Double Tree Hotel. We went for dinner and had a fantastic meal. 390 Prime is their new Steakhouse. They had a great selection of local craft spirits. Too many to try in one visit. We ordered most of the items on the menu and shared everything. One dish was better than the next. But the star of the night was the steak. I ordered the Filet and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. I look forward to my next visit.”
