“Touchstone, deserves every star, I got Axel, black Labrador mix, he's always been anxious, the staff and Dr's have helped with that as well as keeping Axel well. Back in October 2025 I did go to Garden State Veterinary Hospital as Axel had to have emergency surgery on his ACL and Minscus.. Other than that Touchstone has been great. We moved to Jackson township a 40 minute drive away. I tried a local Veterinary Clinic. Big mistake I won't go into all the reasons why but 1 of them is I've never been to a Veterinary office where you stay in waiting room while they treat your pet. They also told me I couldn't get his Rabies vaccine 5 months early. I have since switched back to Touchstone. All my concerns and issues have always been treated with professional and supportive staff and Doctors. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE CARE EXPLANATIONS AND TREATMENT. We have received there, we are not treated like a money machine. As a senior citizen I appreciate all they do.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about this animal hospital and the care they provided for Teddy during an incredibly scary time for our family. While Teddy was very sick, the entire staff showed us such compassion, empathy, and genuine concern. They were willing to help in any way they could and made us feel supported every step of the way. What stood out most was how seamlessly they communicated and collaborated with Red Bank Emergency Animal Hospital. Having both hospitals working together and sharing information made an overwhelming situation so much easier for us and ensured Teddy received consistent, coordinated care. Dr. C was especially incredible. Every morning when we brought Teddy in to have her medications administered, Dr. C would personally come out to speak with us and get an update on how she was doing. That level of care and personal attention meant more to us than I can put into words. When your pet is seriously ill, you want to know that the people caring for them truly care — and we felt that from every single person here. We are so grateful for the kindness, communication, support, and exceptional care Teddy received. I would recommend this hospital without hesitation.”

“The best vet around. Dr. Manuel is the most caring and honest vet we’ve ever had, we’re extremely happy we have found this office. His exams are extremely thorough, and never a rush, and it’s easy to get quick appointments. What was really the telling sign that we’ve found a good vet is we recently had to take our cat to the emergency room when he became extremely sick. The hospital wanted to charge us so much money for so much unnecessary testing, and we left without much answers. After our visit there we followed up with Dr.Manuel as he was still not improving, and he gave us what was necessary to make him feel better, and he was back to himself within 48 hours. Dr. Manuel truly cares and won’t push unnecessary testing on you, and I always recommend him to everyone! Thank you Dr. Manuel!”

“Seamus - our 11 year old Beagle mix - has been a patient of Holmdel Veterinary Clinic for over a decade. (We also have Hopper - our crazy kitty who we adopted from one of HVC's veterinary assistants.) Seamus just had his senior check up today. Unfortunately, Dr. Sturla found an issue that require's a specialist's care, so I'm a bit nervous and anxious about putting my sweet boy in the care of someone I don't know. I just hope everything goes well. Seamus is FAMILY. My husband and I need our sweet old sugar-faced puppy to live a long, happy, healthy life. One thing I can say with complete confidence is that Dr. Sturla and his entire team truly care about their patients. My dog hates vet visits, but the staff at HVC are always so calm and gentle with him. I appreciate that they try to make the experience as stress-free as possible. (For both of us.) I'm an annoying "dog mom" who worries about every little lump and bump - but the staff at Holmdel Veterinary Clinic is always patient and accommodating. They take the time to answer every question and address all of my concerns. I never feel rushed or ignored. I am so grateful I found a veterinary clinic with such great staff! Everyone at HVC is always so welcoming and they make a such a fuss over Seamus. (He's such a little rock star!) It melts my heart to see how much they care. The people at HVC are true animal lovers. I knew I'd found a kind, compassionate vet the time I caught a glimpse of Dr. Sturla kissing my boy on the head. It was a small, sweet gesture, but it meant so much to me. It's definitely something I'll always remember. Thank you Dr. Sturla and everybody at Holmdel Veterinary Clinic for so many years of kindness and compassion. Our crazy kitty is due for a check up soon, so we'll be seeing you again really soon! Warning: Get your thickest gloves ready - unlike his sweet canine sibling, Hopper's a bit of a tough guy!”

I was so grateful, since we are not clients of Colts Neck Equine but my usual vet was not available, and she still drove from over an hour away to come take care of my boy during an emergency. She did such a wonderful job helping us manage his impaction colic on the farm, coming back again later in the afternoon to give him more fluids when he needed it and checking in with us by phone over the next couple days. “I recently started to use Bayshore on the recommendation of a few friends. Everyone from reception, to vet techs to Doctors are friendly, warm and caring. My animals get a thorough exam and are treated with respect. I say this because the last vet that I used was afraid of my very mild mannered dog and made me muzzle him before she'd approach him, even though he didn't exhibit any aggressive behavior. And she still didn't give him the exam he should have had. When I brought him to Bayshore I mentioned that they could muzzle him if they thought necessary and they said no need. And last vet was afraid of my cat because she was very vocal as she hates the carrier. Bayshore had no fear of giving her a thorough exam and correctly diagnosing her. Needless to say they are my new vet.”
