“we have a high anxiety, reactive dog and we have always been stressed over going to the vet because it is one of his triggers. we were told the vets here are fear free and specialize in dogs like ours so we decided to call and see how we felt. before even scheduling an appointment, we were able to set up a plan for when we bring our dog in to try to limit his anxiety. the receptionist, techs and doctors all took our plan seriously and listened to us about our dog’s triggers. we were able to have the most thorough exam he has ever had including nail clippings (which we assumed would be impossible given his anxiety with paw touching) and aspirated a lump we were concerned about. the lump was one that other vets had tried to aspirate previously and were unable to, so we were impressed with how easily dr hallihan was able to do so. the entire staff at this practice is kind, helpful and listens to their patients. this is the best vet we have ever been to and if you’re considering going here, definitely give it a try.”

“To say that I’m impressed by the incredibly thorough evaluation and compassionate care Dr. Minervini demonstrated would be an understatement. A friend recommended Flanders Veterinary Clinic insisting I should switch to them overall when our little Frankie developed a few issues all at once. We used a previous vet as our primary for both dogs and had made the appointment at Flanders for an urgent visit in hopes to “just get him seen by someone quickly”. We were happy and impressed with the care our previous vet provided …until we experienced the care from Dr. Minervini and his staff. Dr. Minervini was so kind and personable. He took the time to examine our little guy head to toe and over again. Our boy had dislocated his knee and had a predisposition to doing so. He asked if we were ever made aware of the diagnosis which we had not, despite a few prior visits with our other vet. He took the time to educate both my husband and me on the conditions Frankie had, the current treatment plan, how to best manage at home, how to prevent worsening, and discussed a plan if any other intervention was needed. He took his time, didn’t make us feel rushed, didn’t push any unnecessary treatments or medications, and had a solid plan in case the course of treatment needed to be adjusted.I am a medical provider for people, and in any type of medicine you can recognize when a doc is knowledgeable and genuinely compassionate. From a medical professional- all I can say is Dr. Minervini is one of the rare kind that take the standard of care to the next level. We are blessed to have had our little guy under his care. Needless to say we will be switching to them for both dogs as our overall veterinarian.”
