“I'm thoroughly impressed with this location! I always have a great experience with this location, but today took the cake. I worked with Flora and Dorothy. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted enthusiastically and authentically. There was no hesitation in offering their assistance. They were incredibly pleasant. Who knew a simple trip to the Post Office could make my day! PLEASE give these ladies a raise! Thank you!”

I actually go out of my way to use this location over others nearby. The service is consistently friendly and efficient, with the exception of one newer employee who seems less approachable. Lines can get long due to customer delays, not staff, but I usually wait no more than 10 minutes. The space is small but functional, and they have a fun selection of envelopes. Overall, a great post office.”

“I went to this location today and omg we received an outstanding service. The US postal worker covering the service lobby desk helped us with 5 applications even made copies for us. I was nervous at first thinking i would get the same service as in Lincoln Park where the employees are very rude, not helping you and sending you back. I was referred to this location by family and I am so glad. These employees at this location love helping people God bless them. Way to go Bloomingdales USPS, thank you for your service! You have a lot of potential in growing!”

“I had probably the best experience than every other post office I’ve been to. The woman that helped me, Sandy, had phenomenal customer service and went above and beyond. Next time I have to go to the post office again, I’ll be coming to this location and hopefully Sandy is the one that helps me out!”

“They have exemplary customer service when I stop by in person, but I do keep getting other people’s mail. Also, the town isn’t all that big, if they set out at 07:10 to do their route(s), then why is it that In almost 10 hours it hasn’t arrived. I live not even 2 minutes away. Aside from that, they’re a grade A post office.”

“I have been here multiple times, and this is hands up the best post office. I drive 20 minutes to come do what I need to do here, instead of going to where I live in Newark, NJ where they are rude, nasty and make you wait too long.”

“Judy is the only saving grace of this place. I only bring my packages here when she is on duty. She is fast, organized and knows her stuff. Unfortunately you can tell she is overworked and under appreciated. Last week she was on vacation and the whole place fell apart. The whole town was talking about it. I realize nowadays it’s hard to find people with a good work ethic but maybe they should reward people like Judy who work harder than what is required of them.”

“I had a problem with a missing parcel. The gentleman in the post office followed up with me twice in 48 hours. He was polite, and really diligent about finding the package. He sent mail carrier on Saturday to recheck for pkg and they found it in wrong mailbox.

The automated phone system is efficient despite being impersonal—I had a mail issue resolved quickly through an online form. Staff here used to feel cold and indifferent, but there’s been a noticeable shift lately. A kind older Asian woman who rotates between locations brings warmth to the service. Staff turnover seems high, and while they may be short-staffed, hiring doesn’t appear active.
Lines vary depending on the time and customer behavior, but I usually wait no more than 10 minutes. If the parking lot is full, expect a wait. The space is functional, though envelope selection is more limited than other nearby offices.”
