“Angela the new post master went above and beyond when a package was received from a Boston post office. She called me right away to let me know it was my son's lost wallet. Then she had it sent directly to him. She has really cleaned up and organized the whole post office. Everything looks great. Gabby and Barbara are wonderful and so happy for Angela's leadership!”

I called and got through to Amanda who was wonderful and told me exactly how to get them out for next day in their zip code. John at the counter and Matt, the supervisor happily accommodated me. “I have been going here for about 2 years now when I discovered it was there. I mail out many large envelopes during tax season and I'm usually out in less that 5 minutes. The young lady who runs the office is just wonderful to deal with, very polite, courteous and accurate. Those with the negative reviews go stand in line for at least half and hour at the main Post Office in Brick and maybe then you'll be happy!”
“Fantastic local post office in Monmouth Beach NJ Considerably closer than my post office in Rumson. The gentleman who works there is very helpful and kind. I drop off the occasional return or ebay package. Open until 5pm Monday through Friday Plenty of parking available”

“Honestly the only good one around. The reviews it self show it. 3.8 states at the time of me making this comment (even if it seems low) is very high for a post office to have as a rating. It's so quick and easy, never had a problem. Everything ships right away, have mailed dozens of packages from Depop selling, to my taxes, etc and everything always works out. Very friendly people inside that don't mind taking the time to talk and help you. Such a contrast from all the awful ones around us (Looking at you Howell post office). Keep up the great work!”

“This is one of the cutest little post offices in the area, almost nostalgic like, out of a movie scene. More importantly, the friendliest staff works there. I had a work project to complete in which I had to ship out a large quantity of packages. Al & Brian helped me figure out pricing options and then even helped individually create a label for each box since the feature was disabled online all while being friendly and attentive. They even figured out ways to attend to other customers while managing my project so I wasn't holding the line up. Al & Brian really are an asset and did an amazing job. Forever grateful.”

“I sent an Easter box to my son in Boston Massachusetts and was told it would get there the Saturday before Easter and the latest the Monday after Easter which I was okay with….well…it never got there. In fact , we thought maybe it was stolen at his place of residence. In addition, I couldn’t track the box because I lost the receipt. I decide to call West long Branch post office to see if anything could be done. Tammy was friendly and helpful and gave me hope. She took my name and number and how much I paid in the mail postage. The next day she called me and told me Consumer Affairs was helping her locate the box…the scanners had issues reading the bar codes(the box went to MA, back to NJ and then back to MA) and she was making sure the box would make it to my son. Tammy was so friendly and went out of her way to help….and it was so appreciated!!! There should be more people out there doing customer service jobs that have a personality, work ethic and friendly disposition as she does! Today, my son got the box!!!! Thank you Tammy!!!

“This is a satellite from Red Bank, a much larger post office and this does just as much business. Yet Red Bank will not allow more than one person to work here at a time so there are lines frequently. The mail person, Jaime, is absolutely superb in her handling of the job, professional, knowlegable and kind.”

“I’ve always had nice service at this location and it’s a really good place if you know your way around shipping. It is a smaller location so they aren’t as staffed as one of the bigger branch’s and they do close midday for lunch, they have the hours on the front door.”
“Convenient location, but there's a man that works the counter who is really unprofessional and seems to hate being there. I once went in 30 mins before closing and he didn't want to ship my package because it was shipping internationally. He said "it was a lot of paperwork and they were closing soon so there wasn't enough time". He told me to come back the next day, but it was a gift and I didn't want to wait another day, which I told him. I said I would fill out the paper as fast as I could and he finally gave me the form, reluctantly. It took maybe 5 mins to fill out, he was just being lazy. He has an attitude with customers for no reason. Makes you feel like you're a nuisance.”
“After having a poor customer service experience in Asbury Park (where I've had many poor experiences), I have been delighted with the service at this Wanamassa/Ocean location. I am able to get in and out much faster, and the front end workers are generally much kinder and less stressed. My most recent experience on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12:53pm - the gentleman who helped me get my PO Box (I wish I knew his name - he is often there and on my receipt it says Clerk 07) could not have been more pleasant. Not only is the service better here, but the same size PO Box in Asbury Park cost over $100 more per year. I will continue to bring my business here.”

“Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from…I’ve been using this location for almost 10 years an I have never had an issue. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Post office is clean and there’s rarely a wait. The rest of the post offices in this area are absolute nightmares - this one and it’s staff are a saving grace.”
