“If you want a delicious fresh sandwich or salad in a pleasant and quiet environment, I suggest here! This is my current go-to lunch spot. My favorite sandwich is chicken salad on a croissant. The chicken salad has red grape slices in it which I just can't get enough of. I love the mandarin pineapple side salad too. It's so tangy and refreshing. The interior is modern and clean. It's usually quiet. There's a big free parking lot in front on this restaurant. Staff is welcoming and friendly. This restaurant has a rewards program. In addition to fresh food options, you can find frozen meals and desserts.”

“Granted, I've only been here a few times so far - but Aiello's is an awesome local Italian deli.Why there aren't more great Italian delis in the area eludes me - but Aiello's is certainly worth a visit.They have meats, awesome prepared foods, delicious sandwiches and breads, pastas, imported deli meats, and plenty of specialty items.Just walking in and smelling the air inside is worth the trip alone.The foods seal the deal.The Godfather sandwich is excellent. Loaded with premium deli meats - it definitely hits the spot.My only request would be an option to choose the bread for any sandwich - maybe you can, I don't know.The standard bread was ok, but I'm a fan of a seeded semolina and would like to try it on that if possible.|Combine all the positives above with a friendly staff and there's just no excuse not to come here.”

“I've been getting ALL of my beef and chicken here for years, so this review is not based off one or two good experiences. It's based on more than I could possibly count. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone without any reservations. If they have it - it's fresh. Everything is displayed and prepared right in front of you. Add to that the fact that it is a family run business - you're being helped by an owner every single time. There is also no shortage of other staples like rice, lentils, olives, tea etc. right there. So, really, what more can anyone ask for.”

“The service is great. The locals flock here. There are some characters who give this place its vibe. A talkative place. Large portions where you don't get away hungry. Eating "right" can be had, no fountain drinks. Great daily specials. Parking is a concern, not much around. The prices are really good and more than fair for what you get. Make to order sandwiches made the you like. The onion rings are top-notch. Kielbasa and kruat is available. a treat that is hard to find in these parts.”

“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”

“This place has been here since the early 50s! I love the charm of it all... from the old school worn out sign outside... to the friendly family owned stories that you can get from Peter... that is right up my alley! My husband came here before and was happy with the service and the food... I came here searching the real German bologna that my grandfather couldn't find any regular deli... I got that and some liverwurst for myself... haven't tried the liverwurst yet, but my Papa said the bologna was spot on! For that reason alone, I will be back in regularly for him. They have a vast sandwich menu and other entrees and sides.... I intend on keeping their catering services in mind!”

“UPDATE:I received a call from the owner within 24 hours of this review (on a Sunday). She offered to do whatever she could to make this right. Fortunately, we placed the product in the freezer, so no harm. I will order again for another try based on this response.My customer service experience was very different than others leaving a review. I placed an order in the summer to be shipped. My husband is a Jersey native and I wanted to surprise him. When the order was received, there was some insulation and two ice packs. It was brought right inside the house, but the Texas heat and time in delivery vehicle were unforgiving. The product did not feel cold so we temped it and it was 66 degrees. My husband immediately put it in the freezer and I reached out to the company to find out if it would be considered safe to eat. Some processed meats do not require refrigeration and I wasn’t sure about this one. We received no response, no follow up to multiple emails and no return calls. Completely ghosted!”

“Aldi stores offer bargains all day. Where can you get a dozen eggs for 80c, cage free for 2 and half bucks? I specifically go to shop for the best German chocolates that they carry for exceptional prices. If interested, there's an aisle of shame, soon to be expiring veggies, ? and others available.
