I do not recommend it . I could close it. There is no table and no chair to sit on. The only person who can sit is the owner. There are some machines with dirty clothes that are sitting for a long time why does it keep it no idea.

I came in on Christmas Eve with a Reservation! and they had no vehicles and were turning away every. This is terrible and when i called customer service to complain about this no one called me back. So many other options to pick at Newark. Older people stranded on Christmas eve 2023 . Sad but true. Consider others!

After paying over the phone with a credit card.For the 2nd time paying with the credit card the next day with the "Checked-In" email they sent. Then, After Landing in Newark, Alamo walked me over to the compact car and said take this one and keys are the car. Now the problem, We can't get out at the exit gate because they are mostly closed and the people working the exit gate are very rude and disrespectful. We finally got to an open gate worker to let us out, but said we don't have a credit card on file for you!! What? What? What!! We got frustrated. They would not let us depart. We had to leave the car and go back in and rent a car from Avis. This complaint has been filed with Alamo customer Service on 1/2/24.

This location inside Newark airport terminal A was overbooked Christmas Eve 2023 and turning away all people with reservations. Shame on you ! Poor planning. If you held a reservation then you should have honored it.

Outstanding service, I'll definitely rent a car here again!We took a Uber from NYC to get a rental car for a roadtrip during Thanksgiving week. For some my credit card didn't work at first and it took me about 20 minutes to sort things out with the bank on the phone. Robert was super polite and supportive with us, I dont think I could've been this patient.That man definitely deserves a raise!

Just had the BEST experience with employees at Alamo. Dwayne at the front desk was funny and efficient. Everyone from the guy who gave me keys, to the two peopleWho returned the car were all smiles and made me feel great. What kind of hiring and training is going on at Alamo? It’s working. ❤️??This was my first experience with Alamo (previously used budget/hertz), and I’ll only use them going forward.

Absolutely the worst, not only the customer service did not answer my questions, but the moment I picked my rental car the gas tank was empty. Not only that in the receipt it stated that gas was charged, they continued to argue with me that the car had full thank. On top of that even after a month they continued to charge me week by week. Never got a refund back. I will never rent any car from Alamo absolutely the worst.

No Issues with our rental car; the complaint I have with this Alamo branch is the poor level of customer assistance and the apparent lack of a Lost and Found department.I inadvertently left an expensive pair of sunglasses on the center console of our rental at the drop-off. Even though I have followed all the procedures set out by Alamo for recovering a lost item and have returned to the branch, only to be met with rudeness, the glasses are still nowhere to be found, despite the fact we know exactly when and where they were left.Apparently the Lost and Found policy at this branch is "Finders Keepers".

- 1000000 stars is I could- Sarah what so called the branch manage fail at first to identify an international driving licence and we kept arguing for hours- then I asked someone to bring my recently issued us driving licence she still fail to identify a US valid driving licence .. a gov fed document !!- the whole team was influenced by her arrogance and ignorance of documents and procedures ..- the worst thing she didn't even cancel the reservation from the system and until this moment I am unable to have my money back- I have been renting cars in almost all destinations around the world and I never had a similar experience, I would have called 911 if I had the time as she refuses the us driving licenceVery j professional felt like dealing with bunch of kids running the place0 customer service0 knowledge0 handlingThe lady was not even at her desk most of the timeShe was in a break for three hours !?And they said she's out side taking care of the place I waited for hours to talk to her and I went out side there was no one taking care of nothing !!Horrible experience goes beyond my worst imagination !!

Clara was very friendly and informative. Any questions I had she answered. This was actually one of the best and easiest experiences I have had when renting a car.

What is the point of having automated kiosks, if the approach is still to have customers waiting in long lines at counters which is understaffed during rush hours?
