As a member of the Presidents Circle the experience is always effortless. Decent choices of cars (at least in the AM). East pick up and easier drop off

Hertz Customer Care Case # 21587853I was told I would be reimbursed for a tire that got a nail in it when I was home in NJ by Leah C. I just had to send her the paperwork for the tire, which I did. I then got an email from Durlane M. stating that because I didnt call their Roadside Service, I would NOT be reimbursed. I had no clue what to do when the whole thing happened.. It was 253.15$ for a tire that I could have easily just left plugged, but i went the distance and took my time while I was on vacation to fix it. While I was at Mavis Tire, they informed me that Enterprise would reimburse their customer4s if they had their tires fixed with them and so I called Hertz Customer Service twice, unable to speak with a person on the phone. So I sent over to Leah C. the proof that I called Hertz to speak to someone While I was getting the tire fixed. I also sent over pictures to show, with date stamping that the tire was plugged the day previous by my friend. I guess I should have just left it plugged. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I got some ridiculous response from Durlane saying that my information was documented for future clients? That doesn't pay me back my money that I spent on a tire they are riding on. SO I guess from this point forward,, since no one can be bothered to pick up a phone call, I will use Enterprise from this point forward. This has been documented, by me and you will definitely never have my business again. And by the way, the cranky woman at Newark Airport with the long wig also had a crappy attitude. Don't be like that with people, it's horrible idea.

This review is specifically to the customers service rep named Beverly. While returning a vehicle and also picking up another one, I wanted to speak to a customer service rep regarding certain promotions Hertz has with T-Mobile customers. I had mentioned to the rep that as a T-Mobile customer, Hertz waives the EV recharge fee of $25. I wanted to know if this promotion can be applied to the rental I had just returned or it may be applied to the new booking with some special code before I pick up the car.Her response was “ well you need to ask T-Mobile for that”. To clarify, I asked her again “ so you mean to say that I need to ask a telecom company for a credit on a promotion for a car rental company”? Her response was a resounding “yes”.In disbelief of the absolute illogical response I just heard, I stood there for about 10 seconds trying to untangle the mess that just went into my ears. I asked “can you please explain how that will work”? The agent took a pause and simply pointed to my rental slip and asked me to read the terms. While I didn’t expect a perfect response from any CS agent. Simply the right attitude to help clarify a customers question was all I expected. I stood there for a few seconds realizing that this agent lacked both the product knowledge as well as the training to perform her job effectively. I chose to walk away instead of wasting more time.Instead of moving on from the disastrous service session this agent just had, she responded by making a small scene by says “woo woo”. Waived her hands a bit and tried to play victim in this incident.Instead of servicing the customer, the level of micro-aggression and lack of willingness to help was on full display by this agent. It is absolutely ok to not know what promotions the company you work for is currently running. However, it is not ok to make something up out of thin air and treat the customer negatively for your lack of knowledge.Do better.

DO NOT RENT FROM HEREThey did not honor our online reservation and tried to give us a different car and did not honor the price difference. On top of that they were some of the most unhelpful people ever. They did not allow us to cancel the reservation and they first said they could not book a new one at the desk and when they finally agreed to they tried to charge us 2x the price. We ended up going with enterprise. DO NOT BOOK YOU WILL REGRET IT

If I could give 0 stars I would. Someone rented a car from them caused a 4 car accident. My car was the 3ed involved. The guy ran a stop sigh. I did not find out about my car being hit till the next day due to my car being parked out side my house for the night. It has been almost 3 weeks and no adjustor has came out or called me. I am on the phone every other day with the claims department and they say no one has picked up the case and they are sorry. My car has over 3000 worth of damage.

I rent a car with Hertz as a package of my flight to NJ which sounds a good deal. I chose a Nissan SUV looked rather new and smell OK. Hertz is reliable on this. Only thing I am not happy with this car is, the dashboard kept showing up a message that service is past due, which gets on my nerves. But so far the driving experience is good so I didn’t bother to bring it all the way back to change to another car as it took one hour which means 2 hours for this trip which is not worth it. Oh one thing, the telephone no to ask for road side assistance takes ages (more than 15 min )for someone to answer. Reason is after fill up the petrol talking to the attendant who serviced, I need to close the window while it is still raining and the window did not roll up. I thought it is some fault with the car which I didn’t realized I need to start the car first. Silly me! But the road side service tel no. is useless. So luckily I don’t need it after figure out my silly mistake.

I am a hertz president circle. Had worst experience ever this evening. Only 1 car in circle, got in car and proceeded to exit. At exit they say car is recalled and go back , pick in 5 star. I drive back and pick a car from 5 star. Go to exit and they say it's not registered in system for 5 star. She called the supervisor. Told sorry hi back they are bringing a car into president circle. I drive back. Car is there. Trade car and go to exit. Then I am told the car is not showing in system and supervisor will come override. Wait 10 min at exit. Supervisor comes and tells me that I pulled from stall 533 which is reserved, and to put it back in spot and she would bring a car. I do and show that 533 is a predidents circle. She proceeds to roll her eyes and says it doesn't matter that I registered for mid size and it was a SUV. I proceeded to explain that the perk is you go pick you car if in that area or tier below. She told me that is not fair and did not know the program. Proceeded to leave and take the car she brought me. FYI the car smells like an ashtray she brought me and she knew it because she had all windows down. I am so disappointed and lost 1 hour of time and 4 cars while dealing with a horrible supervisor. So unprofessional. After decades of being a loyal Hertz customer,

I love renting from Hertz they are very professional and helpful. I would however, not recommend the electrical cars. While the technology is amazing the cars are very expensive to recharge and very time consuming. So if you are a busy person who needs to be on the road, fixing your own things electrical vehicles are not for you. It was my first experience and I hope the last too. I prefer traditional as it available everywhere and it only takes less than five minutes. Overall, I love renting from Hertz I would recommend them at anytime.

I am a president circl member, this Monday, March 4, I rented the Chevrolet Tahoo category. The only car offered to me was a horrible Nissan ARMADA. The person at the Gold counter didn't want to change it for me, even though I asked for a smaller one. A Ford Explorer or something. For what ? You do not accept an upgrade, but here the customer offers to reduce his reservation..... You should not make a Hertz Gold representative unpleasant. Example another customer also asked to speak to the Manager!!!. I didn't have time, I insisted twice, then I didn't have time to wait. In conclusion, I have 2 other reservations arriving, I cancel and go to Avis, I am also Preferd, much easier if you want to change car!!!
