βI love this place. It's like a hole in the wall, mom & pop neighborhood bar spot. It's small but cozy. Everyone who's somebody in Newark, ie: counsel members, politicians, local merchants, grandma and grandpop are all there mingling. And if you don't know anyone when you get there, you'll leave knowing half the people there. You are now part of the family. Their DJ is always on point with the house music too.β

βLarge variety but location isn't in the safest of neighborhoods. I used to live in the area when I was a kid so I'm aware or how to maneuver without any issues but if you're just coming to buy some drinks and be on your merry way, you'll be fine. Just don't plan on hanging out in the area. The owners are cool and friendly so you won't have any issues with them.β

They allow vendors to sit outside sell their oils, montages, etc. No biggie besides the big security guy who doesn't work for them but seem to b there day in day out ..n he runs the stor n controls the lines but they said he don't work there however it's an lq so they jus take the help n okayβ

βThis liquor store typically has what I'm looking for. From ice, cups, plastic champagne flutes, and mixers, to soda, water, juice, beer, ciders, wine, and hard liquors. They carry the smallest sizes to the largest sizes of most items. I usually stop by here if I'm picking up something last minute. The prices are reasonable and they often have sales. A lot of people from the neighborhood hang out outside and the cops are usually parked outside on busy nights. Sometimes the neighborhood guys and store attendants argue, but don't be worried, they are usually just playing around. They have a parking lot and street parking.β

βLiquor Store has a little bit of everything and the workers are nice.I've never had a bad experience at all with any of the staff there (that is hard to say about a lot of places nowadays).A few items are priced a FEW cents more than their competition liquor store a few blocks away on Chapel Street, however, they also do have cheaper prices as well.For example: I smoke Newport 100s and at Oasis Liquor Store I'm charged only $11.00 while ago of the other stores in the area charge between $12.00-$12.50!β
