Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Newark International Airport is praised for its nice and luxury feel inside the lobby, hallways, rooms and bar. Guests love the coffee shop and find the staff friendly, helpful, efficient, professional and respectful. Rooms are neat and adequate. The hotel is great and clean, giving the impression of a place where you are always welcome, even barefoot. Some guests note problems: the location is not safe at night, dark surroundings, poorly lighted, access road narrow and full of potholes. Kitchen staff can be rude and food barely ok. Front desk personnel sometimes not responsive, TV remotes not returned. One room had a door open because the lock was extended and the card wouldn’t retract the bolt.
