Nile and I believe it's Able, apologies if that's not correct, he was the manager on duty however. They were exactly what you want in salesman. Helpful, not pushy, attentive, suggestive, persuasive but not snake oil salesman style. Could have let me buy the most expensive phone in the store, but explained the benefits of what I ended up purchasing. Ask for Nile or Able, they'll get you right!

This location clearly only cares about one thing: COMMISSION.
I had an extremely disappointing experience today with a sales rep named Christian—who is supposedly the store’s “best representative.” Unfortunately, this is the second time in the past two years my family has had a negative encounter with him specifically.
He was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping me. There was zero effort to provide real customer service—it was painfully obvious his only priority was making a sale. I honestly don’t understand how someone like this gets positive reviews.
My entire family has been loyal to this location for years, but after today, we’ve agreed to take our business to the Sparta Verizon store from now on. Verizon should seriously reconsider who they put on the floor as their “best guy.” What a joke.

I had a phenomenal Verizon experience with Danny! He truly went above and beyond for me. I can tell that he cares about meeting his customers needs. If you go there, ask for Danny!

I’m leaving a 5 star review and I didn’t even walk into the store! When I called the Verizon in Newton I had a question about billing because I couldn’t get a customer representative calling the help number. Tracie was the most helpful representative at Newton we could have asked for. She explained things so well and went over multiple times for clarification. She not only wanted us happy for the time being but also for the future. We will becoming back to this specific spot just because of her. We can’t thank Tracie enough for the help and support. So next time you need help either reach out with a phone call or ask for Tracie, she is the best.

Ryan was absolutely fantastic he was super patient, kind and cared about my concerns being that I am not tech savvy I went there a total of 3 times I think or 4 he always greet me with a smile .

Matt is an outstanding customer service technician and in my opinion a huge asset to Verizon. He sold me my newest phone and took the time to help set it up to my satisfaction and answered all my questions. Matt is always willing and able to troubleshoot any issues/questions I have had. He's a nice person too!

Don't go there. They ripped off my wife for over $400 on a trade in. They alsosigned her up for insurance and never told her.

My phone charger stopped working, and I went in to pick up another charger and a 2nd phone phone. I have always had superior service whenever I have been there. Between Gabriel and Daniel, I'm always taken care of.

I am leaving this review with extreme disappointment and disgust for the way your store in Newton, NJ handles daily operations.
Your Management team has zero regard for customer service. On June 3rd of 2024, my grandmother of 70 years old came into your location to upgrade her phone. She was convinced by a representative that they did not have any iPhone 13 or 14 phones, so she was upgraded to an iPhone 15. The representative then sold her an apple watch that was said to be "free." She left the store spending over $400.00
I later received my bill for this and realized that not only did your representative add the watch with an additional line that costs about $20.00 a month but they upgraded her phone plan to the highest possible line coverage that is not needed.
I immediately called the Verizon Customer Service to inquire what could be done. A representative who does have compassion was able to help me and assist in putting the account back to its original status and made a note to the account saying that my grandmother could return the watch to the store and pay a $50.00 restocking fee.
Today, July 4th which is one day past the 30-day return policy she returned to the store to bring back the watch and your manager Gabriele was extremely rude and advised her she could not return it and said that "it doesn't matter if its one day passed." My grandmother left your store in tears and called me. This does not sit well with me.
I called your Newton location myself and spoke with Gabriele who again had very little compassion and became upset with me when I expressed concern. I understand you have different policies and procedures as you are not a Corporate location, however if you are said to be representing the brand of Verizon; I would expect better customer service to customers who have been with Verizon wireless for 15 plus years.
Furthermore, when I asked for the district managers contact information he refused to provide the phone number. He did however provide me with an email which in turn appears to be incorrect. I do expect a call from you or the owner of this franchise location Mr. Martin.
I have contacted the corporate team and expressed my concern and they will be reaching out to you.
In the meantime, I will be seeking legal counsel to further look into the evident age discrimination practices that are being taken in your location by taking advantage of elderly customers.
