“A little tricky to back in with cars and trucks driving by on this little street. You have to keep stopping and waiting for them to pass because THEY sure don’t know what waiting is in NJ. However, the loading process was great. Very quick. Out of there in about 30 minutes.”

291-299 W 33rd St, New York NY 10001
“The new station is so beautiful- light, airy- a million times better than the old station for Amtrak. There's a fancy entrance with skylight and escalators at 33rd and 7th (you see a perfectly framed view of the Empire State Building as you ride up the escalator), but this is not the quickest entrance for direct access to Amtrak; the entrance on 33rd and 8th is the most direct access to Amtrak (this entrance is on the side with the iconic steps on the outside). There are several waiting/lounge areas for Amtrak passengers. Unfortunately, the gorgeous looking Metropolitan Lounge on the second floor is only for certain passengers (Acela, first-class, Guest Rewards Select Plus and Select Executive). Still, the new lounge areas for the rest of us are still petty nice. Finally, I think the extra space has allowed Amtrak to make boarding a less crazy affair- clearer announcements, earlier boarding. Overall, a gigantic improvement- I always loved Amtrak and I love heading to the station, too.”

“This company is not perfect but they strive to do the right thing and wow they have improved so much. Follow their policies and respectfully bring to their attention any concerns and you will see they care. Some of these people giving bad reviews got fired for being disrespectful or violating company policies. Do not believe every review there alot of lying in those reviews lol”

“Four starts for the accuracy of your buses in association with the mybus website. Negative zero on bus maintenance (ie the strong smell and sight of mold on the buses) know that mold can make you ill.”
