“My husband and I have been going here for over a year now and it’s been an amazing experience! We have progressed significantly since we started. We feel stronger and much more active! The staff have been great and very supportive. Thank you!”
“Gym is not clean and the sanitizer is water. Every time I leave feeling dirty no matter how much I use on the equipment. Also the GM is miserable, mean to customers and will probably call me to yell at me about this review. The only reason I keep my membership is because of Adnan the yoga instructor who is amazing.”
“I love working at Mayweather Boxing! Every workout has been challenging in the best way possible. I look forward to doing this class each week and recommend a trial class to friends every chance I get.”
“Great gym with everything I need to get in shape. Friendly and helpful staff. It can be a bit crowded at the most popular times, but that is likely the case in most gyms.”
“I love this gym. It's an awesome facility with enough space and variety to have a great workout everytime. And the staff is friendly, which is a double bonus in 2024, and in New Jersey. Great job
But the gym patrons have more room for improvement than just our wastelines. Decorum can be better addressed
Like, the gym is a community centered around self improvement, but weights and cardio won't fix things like bad attitudes or bad hygiene. And bringing those things into the community can be a detriment and deterrent to others achieving their improvement goals. Shower before working out if you're too stank for public places. And it's just as wrong for piss smelling men to wear dirty clothes in the gym as it is for fish smelling women to be wearing almost no clothes. Have some class
Like, don't be stank and have an attitude. Leave your attitude in your gym bag. But not in one of the million gym bags left on the floor to trip over. There was a rule made about bags last year no one followed. But it's a rule because it's important that it's a nice facility with a lot of space for everyone, respecting each others space
But the locker room and sauna is a tight space. So wrapping a towel around yourself is for mutual respect of that tiny space. Out of respect for others there should be more towels used and less phones taking pictures in the locker rooms
And stop spraying water in the sauna! The #1 reason; Because you look stupid. FUN FACT! Saunas are made for DRY heat therapy. You wouldn't use a drill on a nail, or a hammer on a screw, so why do so many people try to use a sauna as a steam bath? There have been signs put up asking people to stop spraying water in the sauna so the electrical components stop breaking, leading to the sauna being closed for weeks at a time. But it seems people are intent on ruining the sauna until LA fitness doesn't care to maintain the sauna for years, like the pool at this location..
So respect others using the gym as intended, and don't be an idiot. Thank you”
“Staff is solid, place is pretty clean. Just my only problem is the Bench presses, they are all pointing to the cardio machines. So you have to move the bench to not face them, but your force to reach them weird. So please turn them around”
“My trainer Jorge is AMAZING! He’s knowledgeable, patient, and always pushes me to do my best without making me feel pressured. I’ve seen huge improvements in my strength and confidence since training with him only in two weeks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real results and a positive environment!”
