“PROS: Very nice thrift store I just found the other day on Yelp. People that work there are very nice and there is great variety. The place is clean and organized with a lot of parking CONS: some of the stuff tends to be overpriced. The board games being notorious for that OVERALL: I definitely will come back here when I'm in the area. It's a nice thrift store non the less. I would just stay away from the board games”

“This place is absolutely incredible. I think I could spend 8 hours in here and not see everything. I was shocked at how big the space is, what a hidden treasure. I went in on a Saturday and it was a little busy but that's normal. The gentlemen working were two of the nicest guys I have ever met, which makes me want to shop here all the time. They were so kind with every customer. Once it was my turn, not only did one of the gentlemen wrap each one of my purchases in paper then boxed them, but when I got home I realized he also removed the tags, saving me that chore. I will be back - often.”

“This has been "my church" my whole life. Even though, at the time, there was no minister, I was able to be married there. Now, the minister is wonderful and welcoming to all. It is a great place to worship.”

“Can’t think of a nicer guy in a business like this. The owner Nick helped me out tremendously for a bunch of things I needed and kept recommending more to really complete my trip. Prices are incredibly fair and if you talk to Nick you’ll get a couple cool stories from him as well. I’ve already recommended this store to friends and family who I’ll most likely join if they head over here. I highly recommend anyone looking to go to a thrift store to come here first before anywhere else.”

“I have no idea why I didn't review this shop earlier. Today is my third time and every time I have walked out with some awesome vintage stuff. Today I picked up a reversible caped coat with leopard print on one side and orange on the other $50. No label but this is a coat that put a smile on my face. It's a statement coat but I'll wear it all winter. A lovely gown for my nephew's wedding for $15, a very large hand crocheted blanket and a lovingly washed quilt to go over it - each for $20. A copper bar server for $10 and a vintage clothesline pin holder in a fun and funky mix of salvaged cloth absolutely made my day. Top it all off with with the nicest people running it. This is one of the best church thrifts on the East Coast.”

“I went here to look for some black pants for work, unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything that fit me. I'm a size 16, I wasn't able to find any parts over size 14. Most were 8 and 10 under. So if you're on the bigger side, I wouldn't be too hopeful about finding clothes here. They have quite a bit of a selection tho, I did find the curtains I was looking for and most prices are good. I saw a lot of clothes for 8 dollars under, and I saw a couple for 40$ plus. Overall a good place to go to for shirts and other miscellaneous stuff. I'll return again when I'm looking to refresh my closet.Edit: yes, it's true nothing is organized by size, only color, so be prepared to sort to the whole rack to find something in your size.”

“It's clean and well organized. They just didn't give much money for high ticket items. Be sure to clean up all the stains on your clothes before dropping them off and they should also be in season so they won't buy them from you.”

“It may be odd to review a Goodwill store, but here it is! Found a few clothing treasures here- even my teens liked it. Apparently “retro clothing” is cool so we’re all happy! And money spent goes to a good cause.”

“Shoppers today may not believe this, but the building housing MyUnique Thrift Paterson is ACTUALLY 120 YEARS OLD! It's original purpose was as one of the first department stores in the history of downtown Paterson. It was originally known as Quackenbush and built to replace the original store which burned down in the Great Paterson Fire of 1902. Quackenbush took up six floors of the current building with each floor covering a different type of product. Walk to the middle of the current store, and you'll see a double spiral staircase. THAT IS THE ORIGINAL STAIRCASE. An architectural marvel. Although it has been refurbished several times, it has still held up over the decades. Today's store, while lacking the charm of the original, still pays homage to the spirit of Quackenbush. MyUnique Thrift Paterson has the standard of a true store of this kind. Good products at good prices. The service can be a bit impersonal but it's a different clientele these days.”

“PROS: everything here is priced well and there's enough parking for everyone. Everything is organized and the place is actually bigger than I expected. Huge selection of clothes, media, books, and electronics CONS: the lanes in the parking lot are narrow so it's tough to navigate through. Also, the bric a brac section isn't plentiful OVERALL: if you like thrifting and you're in the area I would check this place out”

“Bigger than it looks from the outside, although not as large as the rte. 17 store that closed. I found a small basket for my keys and phone that I couldn't find at IKEA or Home Goods. Well-organized. Nice staff. Easy to drop off items too.”

“It's hit or miss here...but always more hit than miss..I go for older appliances when counter mixers and grillers were made with real parts..not rubber and plastic”

“As far as I can tell there are only two Red, White and Blue thrift stores in the Northeast - one in Waterbury, Connecticut and this one in Paterson, New Jersey. I've made the journey to both locations multiple times and have yet to leave disappointed. Our latest excursion to the NJ location was no different. Right out of the gate, we got an unexpected bonus when we noticed a man selling tamales out of a cargo van in the parking lot. Now, if there's a better way to start off a thrift shopping sesh than with bootleg van food, I'm not aware of it. So we're obviously in for a treat. Both RWB locations are laid out pretty much the same with a massive selection of shoes up front followed by a housewares treasure trove that consists of what seems a like 50' long aisle strewn haphazardly with pots and dishes and smaller items in plastic bags. However, at the moment I'm pretty well set for nasty old Velcro sneakers and chipped depression glass and Bunnykins so we move to the real draw here - a half-century's worth of the moth-eaten sartorial discards of North Jersey's rustbelt. Now, I'll start by saying this is no suburban Goodwill or Plato's Closet and so if you're looking for nice-smelling North Face fleeces and Khakis, you're gonna be a stranger in a strange land. However, if you've come for corduroy and velvet blazers, bowling-themed garments, double-pocket polos, Western-themed snap-buttons, plaid golf slacks, padded hospital socks, paisley bathrobes, Barry Manilow t-shirts, vomit-hued cardigans or striped banlon, all grimy and caked up with that naphthalene and black mold-ridden thrift store goodness, then you are where you were meant to be. But of course stay outta my way because I'm tryna grab up all that nasty ass crap for myself. This day's haul included some great finds including many unfortunately-patterned sweaters and polos and a camel-skin blazer. But perhaps best of all - a custom T-shirt from a girl named Sophie's quince and the Brodhead Family's family reunion from 2015. However, the Holy Grail of the day's haul was without a doubt, the custom-printed Vince Vaughn collage sweatshirt. "You don't need that," sneered my wife when she saw it in the cart, though she must have known that I did in fact need it and there was zero chance I wasn't buying it.”

“Best thrift shop in the area by far. Tagged prices can be high but be sure to look for the daily mark downs. Price tags are all color coded and every day three colors are picked to be 75%, 50%, and 25% off. Those mark down deals really can't be beat. The store usually very clean and organized. I've gotten some real treasures from value village!”
