“After Wednesday February 4, 2026, I was looking to find other Ice Cream stores to visit. I am not an Influencer. I am a regular guy who loves to eat Ice Cream. I bring my Cooler because it is practical and I never know what special Ice Cream I find that I do not want to melt on my way home. On Saturday February 21, 2026 I was at Thomas Sweet located in New Brunswick, NJ. I have been to Thomas Sweet before this Date, but never wrote a review for them and wanted to do so before the Memorial Day Weekend Holiday. Today is no different than any other day.
What is special about Thomas Sweet is the base of Dairy Ice Cream is Sweet Cream and every other Dairy Ice Cream flavor originates from that Sweet Cream Flavor. They have Blend Ins where you can choose wet and dry toppings blended in. They have awesome Milkshakes! They have some of the best Milkshakes putting at least a Pint of Ice Cream in their Largest Shake size. I purchased a few Quarts of Ice Cream Coffee, Sweet Cream and Cinnamon.
I have been moving to Ice Cream without additives and chemicals and cannot say Thomas Sweet does not use additives, as I do not know. Staff is friendly. They take Cash and Credit Cards. I brought my Cooler and took a few Quarts with me. They are 2 blocks from the New Brunswick Train Station, so anyone near New York Penn Station, Newark Penn Station, Trenton or lives along the North East Corridor Train Line can take that North East Corridor Train to New Brunswick and walk up the hill once and on the 2nd Block to your right is Thomas Sweet Ice Cream and their Chocolate Store is next door and worth a visit too. There is Street Parking, however store is located in one of Rutgers University's Campuses. It's worth the visit to have one of their Milkshakes, Blend ins or other products.
There are 3 other Thomas Sweet locations in NJ, including 1 store in Washington DC, however the New Brunswick store is not related to the other stores is my understanding.”
