“My 2003 SLK Mercedes, (6 gears manual shift) roadster needed a new clutch and a new set of breaks. after consulting the Mercedes dealership in Egg Harbor and two more garages I stopped by Bruces shop. With many old and newer European made cars in the front of his garage I recall that he was recommended some time ago by his daughter in law, I decided to consult him. After talking to him for a while I was convinced of his expertise and I gave him a deposit to order the parts and brought the car to him. Not only did he do an exceptional job on the car, in a very timely manner and very competitive prices- what impressed me more was his deep knowledge of the car , his professionalism , magnetic personality and most importantly the pride that he takes in his work. He stated that he is"old school" and showed me the old parts that he replaced. He was so thorough that he identified that the Mercedes factory actually installed a wrong pulley that caused very rough idling, an issue that the dealership never addressed during all these years.. This is a generation of mechanics that is quickly disappearing . I can only urge you if you are in the area and need a master mechanic to look at your car, to stop by Bruce's Auto Repair at 1711 Tilton Rd in Northfield. It is a true jewel that is very rare nowadays.”
