“A couple days ago, a "fit" lady suggested I switch sizes, but wait until all bras came. Today, Tiana helped me get the right new bras and quickly issued a memo for a refund once I returned the bras. She also ordered my two new bras and bonus panties with the original thirty percent discount. I received the necessary emails promptly. Tiana was friendly and pleasant to talk with. I couldn't have asked for a better place than at Jay's Uniform (Union City, NJ). As my business grew and my logo simplified from color to just black and white, Jay's Uniform was there to work their magic - they placed the M with the halo on the front of the shirts and the full logo with phone number on the back. “Looking at the reviews before mine, it sure seems like this shop has provided some mixed experiences. I did not know about this shop until very recently (I only went to Maplewood for the first time a few months ago). Before talking about the shop itself, I will say that during my recent visit the staff was very nice (this included two young women and one older one - possibly the owner?). I overheard them having several conversations with customers and they all seemed very familiar and friendly. Of course, this is just my experience, so take that as you will. No. 165 (so named for the building number) is an absolutely adorable, comfortable and whimsical shop in Maplewood. They sell all sorts of items ranging from novelty items, candy, clothes, stationary, dish towels, purses, soaps and more. Everything in the shop is either meant to be charming, beautiful or tongue-in-cheek and I love that combination. Interestingly, I saw a note on the counter that indicated at some point last year this shop was going to close, but a strong reaction from the neighborhood helped the owner to change their mind and keep the shop open. What that meant on a practical level is that during my visit a lot of the shelves were definitely more bare than I think they would normally be. This decision is recent, so I am hoping that means in the next couple months the store will restock and have more to offer than it already has. If you're in the area, definitely make it a point to visit No. 165!”

“I shop here often as well as the Staten Island and the Soho location and I must say this store has the best product and the amazing customer service. I can tell Windsor all around the board carries the same training. Vilma i believe thats how its spelled was amazing. She helped my daughter pick out a prom dress as well as shoes and accessories. Kuddos to Windsor for their amazing service and Vilma for her attententivness to my daughter and myself. I will be returning this week to shop for her prom dress.”

“This store is the BOMB!! It has been around SINCE FOREVER! But if you want Cuban style hats, shirts, and other clothes, it is a must! They have wonderful service as well, and I’m not a fluent Spanish speaker. I took a visiting friend there and she had a blast buying things for her family. “I love this store because My mom loved to go here as her favorite clothing store. She got a sequined grey sweater that she liked so much she wore it all the time in our apartment and even in the summer! Everyone who saw it on her raved about it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. No pressure, you can leisurely take it in at your own pace. And the chairs & couches are so comfortable I could relax as she walked from one shmata rack to another. I loved seeing her explore all the styles and then giving me her selections to ring up. It is a pleasure to shop here and the parking is very convenient. Best store for quality & savings. And after you finish your shopping there's a great restaurant nearby called Harold's with the largest portions I have ever seen for a great meal where we usually stopped before heading home. - paul”

“5 stars just for customer service. I wish I got the young lady’s name because she was so sweet and helpful. I do know she’s a fashion student in NY. She helped me decide on a gorgeous shirt that is not my usual go to color.4 stars for the shop itself. It’s hard to rate vintage shops since they all offer different items which may or may not fit in with your style. That being said, this is a cute curated shop with some interesting finds. I would say it is a true “vintage” shop with older items in great condition of course.3 stars for the prices. The biggest issue for me was the cost. However I wasn’t surprised since it’s located in Hoboken. My goal was not to find something amazing for cheap, it was to find something interesting which I did.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for original items at a higher price range and to anyone that enjoys vintage shops.”

“What a gem of a store! My girlfriend and I popped in upon a recommendation and couldn't stop oohing and aahing over the clothing. It's the type of clothing you don't find in an apartment store and the saleswomen are so nice! No one hovers over you and they are more than happy to help. “Love that JC finally has pure barre! The studio is pretty easy to find and the instructors are great! I really enjoyed my first JC class there and will be going back more often. The only downside to me was that I feel that the studios need to have more ventilation or the carpets need to be cleaned better because I can smell feet and sweat which I don’t like.”
