βI was looking to purchase bottles. I decided to try Airgas after checking out AGL. I called on a Friday and explained what I was looking for (to purchase bottles argon and such...) I drove to location I called (Paterson) and found the parking lot was filled. (Only 2 vehicles) but not parked properly. slid to the side to park somewhat. And the garage door opened. someone purchasing a few propane tanks and a handcart comes out. I was told I cant enter and it was locked and to wait until he was done with these customers. Then was rudely asked what I wanted. I said I wanted to purchase some tanks (argon and such) explained i had called friday before and asked about bottles and he said I could get a better deal on 80lb bottles rather than 60. A nasty reply of "who is he '? I said "whats with the attitude'? Shook my head and I walked away. Then I Drove another 25 mins to Oakland and found a nice man who helped me kindly within 10 mins of my arrival. Step it up in Paterson! If you want business then at least treat people right!β
βI live in Raleigh North Carolina and I spent $33 on a couple of small bottles of glue because the shipping was so High and I didn't even realize it. Man named Dan calls me out of the blue and says that he feels he could save me some money on shipping and recharged me for only $19! Who does that nowadays? Thanks a ton and I appreciate your business, certainly will be back when I need stuff!β
βThroughout the years I have only been in there a few times I don't frequent it often but each time I do go in there the workers are extremely helpful and friendly and they listen to you and what your needs are and they do accommodate you by pointing out what is the best item for you and they explain how to use it I will always count on this place as long as I live in this area they are pretty good I advise everyone to go thereβ
βI had the BEST experience at Ferguson in Fairfield thanks to Yolanda! My home is under construction and I needed to make selections for my kitchen and two bathrooms. Yolanda patiently guided me through the process, taking the time to explain different options and share her deep product knowledge.
She was incredibly thoughtful in helping me compare colors and match finishes so everything came together beautifully. When I needed to make a change, she was flexible, responsive, and made the return/replace process seamless.
Every single interaction with her has been warm, supportive, and professional. Despite Ferguson being such a large company, Yolanda made the entire process feel personalized and stress-free. βAs a new homeowner, I am not very handy at all. Was not sure even sure what to do with a snowblower I was given (does this thing even work? how do I turn it on?)From the very first call, this place went above and beyond. Debbie called me at least 5 times to coordinate pickup and drop off (due to my busy travel schedule)- she was super flexible, informative, and understanding of my needs- and she left so much important detail in her messages to me. For example, I had to suddenly go into the city on the scheduled drop off date, and she found a way to get my drop off scheduled for the next day so I could be there for it- and she also coordinated with the delivery tech to make sure he stopped to show me how to actually use the machine. She did this with minimal contact with me as I was in meetings all day.The tech that picked up and dropped off the snowblower gave me extremely detailed instructions on how to use the machine as was well as tips to take care of it and avoid future issues. Either Debbie told him I had no idea what I was doing, or he could just sense it from my questions- but he did a great job of giving me dumbed down instructions without being condescending or making me feel like an idiot.My experience from my first call to payment and receipt of my machine was exceptional and painless. I was listened to, prioritized, and treated with kindness and respect. I will be using them again for any equipment needs, and recommend you do too- especially if you are intimidated by machines/equipment/are not handy.β
βI think I am more budget minded than the average tool buyer, so I do appreciate Harbor Freight's business model. However, I have found some products to be home-runs while others left something to be desiredβ

Brought machine back to them on Tuesday was fix by thursday company that sold me grapple installed incorrectly. Matt an invaluable member of northeastern associates was on it like a dog on bone. She advised the smart combination of semi-custom and custom cabinetry for my kitchen, mudroom, and laundry room and when I threw her a couple curve balls, asking for features Home Supply had never installed before, she very gamely researched and specified them exactly right. Additionally, the Home Supply installation team was top notch. They were personable, knowledgeable, and meticulous. They brought a few issues to my attention and were clear in explaining my options so I could make the most informed decision about how to proceed. They made a mistake on their end but Brian from the front desk was AWESOME and was able to borrow from some other items they had in stock to get me what i needed. βGreat to have an "on the hook" business in town that's there when you need it. Prices a little higher than the big box stores, but that's to be expected in a privately owned establishment. Money that would otherwise be spent on gas.Workers are very helpful and attentive. Just a caution to you non-smokers with sensitive nostrils. Sometimes the place feels like a big ashtray with tools. And masks don't help.That said, in a pinch, they are an invaluable commodity in the town.β
βI heard about this place from a friend who bought a MS261 from one of the owners, Bobby. He was very pleased with his purchase from beginning to end and recommended me here. I called Bobby and he talked to me on the phone like I was his friend of 20 years. I went in today and he brought out 2 MS461's to show me and let me handle, he also took alot of time out to explain different things to me about the saw. Needless to say, I bought the 461 and gained a "go-to" small engine/ equipment shop for all of my future needs. Go to Fremgen's, you will not be disappointed.β
