Delivery company efficient with good, clear communication. Follow up by furniture tech within a week of delivery for question re: loose threads which only had to be snipped off. Can't say enough about this wonderful experience!”

“This is seriously the best homegoods I've ever been to compared to the other one in Princeton and even in Texas! It has sooooo many goodies and amazing decorations. You go in looking for nothing and are so pleasantly surprised with the assortment of things. I bought the best smelling candlesticks, candle holders, Christmas decorations, gift wrap, you name it. Idk why but this one is the goat. Only thing that is kind of annoying is that the aisles are kinda small so if you have a cart you will have to go in one at a time.”

“I had an issue with the owner in the Plainfield location after he attempted to bully me into purchasing additional insurance that I declined numerous times. I called corporate, filed a complaint and was referred to the Perth Amboy location and referred to Ellis, the owner/store manager. This was the best thing that could’ve happened. He was very polite, courteous, and patient while he transferred all my info from the other location and even scheduled a pickup from Plainfield.. He kept in touch w/me and I had the furniture in less than a week. If you’re in the Plainfield area don’t choose that location out of convenience. Choose Ellis and the Perth Amboy location!!!”

A lot of antiques to go through, but be careful it’s very tight and low hanging stuff so watch your head but definitely worth a trip if you are into it. Unfortunately like other furniture items, it took about 10 weeks to get, but we have no regrets and we love the stools.”

Bob B. was wonderful with his advice as we searched the very large showroom for the perfect accent pieces to coordinate with the perfect sectional sofa we bought there. He is a special designer who guides you thru the store and also leaves you alone without being intimidating, allowing us to feel comfortable as we chose the items that filled our livingroom space. Bob even went the extra mile to accompany the delivery crew so he could guide them to place every piece of furniture in our home to perfection. My husband and I are extremely happy with GMI's selection and service, and would give them 6 stars if that rating existed.
