“I moved to the Fort Lee area 5 years ago, but still found myself going far away to visit my trusted mechanics elsewhere. It became very inefficient, and I wondered if I could find a local mechanic. I checked online reviews and found Lee Family Auto Repair. I had a great experience when I went for the first time. I drove up in the middle of the afternoon and requested an oil change. They said they could accommodate me right away, so I waited in the clean waiting area where there were complimentary beverages and snacks. I was told that the brake pads needed replacing. This was definitely not an upsell. They were looking out for me. I had forgotten that the brakes were making a sound. I asked how much and how long it would take. It sounded reasonable so I decided I would take care of that because it needed to be addressed. The work was finished quickly -- much faster than I expected (I had stepped out for errands -- the shop is located very conveniently within walking distance of Hannam, CVS, Chase, etc.). He explained that had I waited longer, I would have done more damage to the brakes and required more work. Whew! They went above and beyond when they voluntarily repositioned and secured my front bumper which had been hanging on by zip ties (I am a terrible car owner). They just did that without me asking or charging me. Such a lovely establishment. I feel very comfortable switching to Lee Family Auto Repair as my regular mechanic.”

I called several places, but all I heard was that it couldn’t be done today. Then I called this place, and the kind voice on the phone told me to visit today. “Came here because my car needed to be serviced. What was suppose to be a weeklong heavy job for the repairs took only a day and not only that they fixed other problems that I didn’t even know about. They are very meticulous when it comes to auto repairs and I love how transparent they are-you know exactly what is going on and you don’t have to worry about being blindsided with a bunch of other charges. My car side mirror cover popped off in a car wash and broke, Mr. Pak was able to order me a new one and kept prices low and fair compared to market prices and what a dealership would have asked. It looks brand new, he did such a great job! I’m super pleased and grateful he took the time to order and spray paint himself so I wouldn’t be paying so much. Turnaround time wasn’t bad at all. I also go to him to have my state inspection and he is really honest about his jobs. Will be coming back for my next inspection!”

I had a clutch, kzCMC, and intake installed in my 10th Gen Civic Si. The install went without issue and the price for install was very fair. The mechanic was very knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. I left feeling very confident about work performed on my car.After taking the time to break in the clutch, the car performs beautifully. At the 4 month mark, I still have no issues to report. Will update if anything changes.For future upgrades, this shop is the place for me. I recommend them greatly.”
