“Huge shout out to Claudia Lopez in the Paramus store. At the time of purchase I did not realize I was charged 3X for a single roll of wrapping paper. During a very stressful time in my life, she was able to research and rectify this oversight without my needing to return to the store.
Kohl’s has been my go to store. I have not adapted to the new Paramus location yet, but will absolutely make an effort to do so as a thank you for her efforts to go above and beyond!

“Gap factory located inside Bergen Town Center. Big parking lot in the mall. Very convenient.
They have all the sections for men women children and sports wears. We went to get some pants for my kid. Honestly I never purchase anything in full price. Always wait for discount.
Highly recommend to get their credit card for being a member. The perks are great: extra discounts, cash back on purchases etc.
Line to check out is always long on the weekends but it does move quickly.”
“I like shopping at this Old Navy. It’s usually not busy and they have a lot of nice clothes that I can wear to work (business casual). My definition of business casual includes jeans. The staff here is very friendly and the mall is very nice and quiet. Even on Saturday, not crowded like the nearby garden state.”

Love how organized this Macy's is, and spacious, as well as clean, much better than GS Plaza, also it doesn't get as crowded either so that's a plus: NEW UPDATE: I also think that the parking lot on the outside is a bit dim, there needs to be a set of flood lamps and adequate lighting for the safety and security of the employees and customers alike, plus this particular "Macy's" is the only anchor store in this mall, as a matter of fact, I honestly think "Paramus Park Mall" needs some adjustments and some renovations so GS Plaza doesn't take all the glory, lastly, before this Macy's used to be an A&S store which was short for "Abraham & Straus..."”
“I came here to get hiking boots - a simple need, but truth be told I don't know about hiking and I've only ever been once. I had never been to REI so I wasn't sure what sort of help to expect in choosing the right shoe. I was a little frustrated since there didn't seem to be anyone to help... but KENNY turned my experience right around and was able to help me get exactly the right shoe for me and provided PHENOMENAL assistance, showing great knowledge in the products. He's a super respectful and fantastic sales associate - even sold me on the REI Co-op. I came back the next day to use my store credit towards a purchase of socks and a pair of pants. I feel that the prices are reasonable, they're on-par (at least in regards to shoes) with what I'd get at any other speciality retailer. I think the advantage you get at REI at the start - learning what equipment is right for you, helped by recommendations from knowledge staff - is worth it to shop here at least once; I saw other reviews purporting you can buy cheaper on Amazon, but that's literally the point of Amazon. Once you find what works for you, feel free to hunt down a product for a lower price elsewhere... While I didn't buy a used item, I also admire REI's approach to sustainability selling lightly used items returned by their members at a discount. I also especially appreciate their return policy where you have plenty of time to determine if your gear is right for you (not sure if this applies to every type of item).
I will say, I was only here two days in a row, but both days the store really seemed to be lacking in staff. I hate to get frustrated when I know everyone is trying their best, as I know how it feels to be in that same position. I'm not sure the reason for the staff shortage, but it's a complaint I saw in other reviews, so I hope management can make some adjustments to help get more staff on the floor. The number of people I saw working this store is the same number of people I've seen at stores 1/10 this size - and for the vast selection of items present here, that's simply not enough. The staff are willing to help customers and are friendly to boot but you can't provide a good enough customer experience without the employees to provide it!
Again, I'd like to thank Kenny for his help and hopefully I will be back soon (but not TOO soon) for another pair of hiking boots!!”
“I was at this location Saturday afternoon and I was greeted by 3 smiling faces. Daniela, Carley and Vanessa were a breath of fresh air! They were pleasant, helpful with any questions and definitely seemed like they genuinely love their job. These young people give me hope for the future lol. “Hollister is a great brand. Ever have a problem where your jeans don’t fit properly because your waist is too small and your thighs are big(there’s no problem with have thick thighs) Hollister has amazing jeans and you can forget about that problem. Their jeans are comfortable and affordable. Hoodies and sweatpants extremely comfortable and parkas so soft it’s like sleeping in a blanket. They have some super nice workers there. Have you seen there fitting rooms super cool it’s definitely my favorite store.Hollister is a great clothing store!!!”

“As a HUGE Under Armour fan and as someone who has worked in Retail for many years , I have to say I had one of the BEST experiences in this location. This location is brand new to Garden State Plaza & I was overly impressed with the AMAZING customer service! I was greeted with a very warm welcome and was approached by a very informative associate who gave me a quick overview of how the store was set up. Unfortunately I had limited time to shop so it was somewhat of a quick visit, but I was also able to have a great conversation with the cashier who was also extremely friendly during the entire transaction. The entire team made me feel extremely "welcome" & it was definitely an experience that I won't forget! I will definitely be back!”

“Today was my 1st visit to a Lands End store. From the moment I walked in, it hit all of my senses. I first was hit with the beautiful scent of new textiles. There was pleasant music playing at an appropriate level. The display tables had perfectly folded sweaters & shirts showing a wide array of inviting fall colors. The racks were neat & tidy, and the floor plan was well thought out. The mannequin stylist put together well coordinated complete outfits that I can copy without thought.
I was greeted by salesperson, Debbie who was friendly & had a kind smile. I told her that I needed a winter outer vest. She lead me right over to that section & one by one, she pulled them off the rack until I saw the one that I liked. I asked to try it on in a medium & after walking back to her from the mirror, she suggested I try the small which turned out to be the better fit. I felt like I had a personal shopper as she showed me other pieces I might like. While I couldn’t get it today, I’ll be back for the beautiful, long black coat that felt like cashmere. The woman at the checkout was also friendly & kind.
I will highly recommend this Lands End to my friends, it’s a hidden gem.

“Lines can be a bit long with only two cashiers but there are people on the floor who are helpful as well almost makes it all worth the wait when you get up to waiting on the lines. Everyone is always looking for a deal and you can definitely find them here. Keep in mind that the gap does price adjustments for up to two weeks after your purchase just hold on to your receipt”
“Had an excellent experience here, wasn’t planning on visiting, popped in as it was next to the restrooms. I had already visited Lands End, gap, banana, old navy and turned up empty handed in all of those stores, couldn’t find a thing to buy. Ended up buying a whole new wardrobe at Jcrew Factory. Bought 6 shirts, 4 tshirts 2 pants and a blazer. Salesperson Maria was so helpful, and made it feel like a luxurious shopping experience, started a dressing room, helped me pick sizes, made recommendations. Maria is a rare type of sales person. I wish I had gotten the name of the woman at the register, who was also helpful and funny, really a wonderful experience. I am already looking forward to shopping here again.”
