“I have used Linden Seay in Ridgewood NJ multiple times. I used her in 2017 through 2020 and she was great. I used a CPA recommended by our wealth manager in 2021 because we had a more complicated tax situation as we sold our primary residence and my wife left her longtime employer and a had to take a few payouts she couldn't rollover. The CPA caused us to be audited by NY State because he advised that my wife who worked for a NY company didn't have to pay NY tax because she worked from home in NJ during the pandemic. This triggered an audit in 2023. We had to return the refunded $ with interest and penalties to NY. We also had to file an amended NJ 2021 return to get credit for taxes paid to NY which we didn't do initially because we told NY to return all the tax takes from W2's. Needless to say we left the CPA. I returned to another CPA whom I had used 25 years ago and he mostly pretended to help but was stringing us along. Also found out he never filed our 2025 return when we were about to file 2026!!! Fired him and went to see Linden.....she did our 2026 return flawlessly. She also got on the phone with me to call NJ to find out why we hadn't received our refund from 2021(almost 3 years since filed amended return). Linden provided the additional information and we just received the Substantial Check from NJ with interest back to 2021!!!!!!! Needless to say I will be using her going forward.”
