I was pleasantly surprised by quality La Colombe coffee and some panini food options. Coffee was excellent and had the turkey panini, took some time but it was excellent quality. The result far exceeded my expectations.

Eterna Primavera Restaurant 502
44 Market St, PassaicAfter my last Guatemalan restaurant experience, I wanted to believe I could find great Guat in NJ. Mission accomplished. Eterna is nestled at a street corner in Orange, right at the west end of Main Street downtown. Pick your parking and walk into a place that will serve anything you are looking for. Baked goods on the right. Imported snacks etc. on shelves. Drinks, soups, meats, anything you want that's authentic, this place has. Including language - if you don't know Spanish this will be difficult. But I made it work. Today was a special soup, which I ordered with assurance it includes meat. Oh, it did. Giant chunks of potato, carrot, whole green beans, and entire chicken leg/thigh were included in at least a court of delicious thick, hearty broth. Amazing seasoning. Perfect side amount of hot sauce that is hotter than you'd think - they make 'em strong south of the border. The rice was not just for the soup. It stood alone and I devoured it, with bits of veggies and just such great seasoning throughout. Incredible. AND there were fresh corn arepas in there to soak up more soup and just... Yeah. It's like that. I also got a fresh baked bread as an appetizer. Nothing bad here. Plenty of seating if you want to eat in (I couldn't), tucked in perfectly to the narrow building. Friendly and patient people up front to deal with people like me. 99% of their clientele may be local Spanish speakers, but I want to motivate my fellow Yelpers to help spread the word about this hidden gem.

359 Monroe St, PassaicThe best tacos I’ve ever had. A very interesting selection, from classics like beef and chorizo to more unique options like pork ears or head. The interior may not impress, but it has that unique vibe. Very friendly service. I highly recommend it.
