“I ordered a new tank from them for my portable table top grill.. they have two Pacific days that they deliver in my area. It was on time.. I sign up on the website left a note where to leave the tank ... thats a major plus. ... the guy arrived really nice (bobby) .. he also pitch that they rent grills and other needs .. my neighbors seen the truck . They asked...they deliver. I said yes .. gave them the number . It seems like people want to grill but don't have time or don't have a car at the time to go get their tank refilled.. this was a major major plus for some of my neighbors. Tank looks nice and good ..”

“I went in originally just to get my propane tank refilled. The gentleman helping me stated my tank was expired. He gave me a brand new tank and took the old one off my hands! I now come here for all of my lawn and gardening needs. The people who work here are really helpful and super friendly!”

“I called SOS Gases in a pinch as I ran out of helium for a balloon job I had due that same day. It was great to know I can go on the spot to rent and refill my helium tank without making a reservation. However when I called to inquire the rental/refill details the receptionist who answered the phone was the rudest person I've ever dealt with. She was bothered to answer my questions. I was desperate so I took a chance and visited SOS. The in-person service was much different. A very pleasant man helped us with all our questions and needs. The service was quick and seamless. I was tempted to bring up the customer service lady who answered my call but I get the feeling it's a family run business and it was probably the mother or grandmother of the business so it's probably pointless to bring up a compliant. I knocked off a star for the rude phone reception and also because they charge you a 3% credit card transaction fee for the purchase AND the refund of my deposit back to my cc. That was ridiculous. I understand the purchase but for the refund of my deposit!!! As a business they should factor that as COGS.”

“I found this place through a friend. I was tired of paying high prices at other local establishments. Here I pay only $16 for a 20 pound tank. I have never looked back. This year I learned I learned something new that ranks have an expiration date. Who knew that 12 years from the date stamped on the tank it becomes expired. So if it is stamped with 2003 like mine was than that tank expired in 2015. They can recertify it for I believe as little as $5 giving it an additional 5 year life span. Either way when you visit this place it is just passed the famous Rutts Hut (known for their Hot Dogs) on the side of the Citgo gas station. Park in the back and the guy will fill your tank and you are on your way within minutes. You can't beat it!!!”
