Game Mania is the best local game store in Paterson. Customers say they have been coming since they were kids and recently returned to collect games and consoles. A customer who came two weeks ago to get a PS Vita was amazed by the many old retro games, new games, and retro consoles on display. Staff are amazing and explain everything about consoles. Some customers ask for help with PC repairs, like an automatic repair can’t be installed issue. Others appreciate the owner and staff for checking plushies and giving fair prices. The vibe is very accommodating and nice, and customers plan to return for more games, sell, and buy. Customers also buy Xbox games, including new releases like Madden NFL 23.
Pretty cool place! After asking nicely they were kind enough to let me inspect the used titles I wanted to purchase, all great condition and even carry japanese and asian imports of games. Itemized receipt and good conversation with the staff there. A wonderful first impression!

A true hidden gem. While the inventory is on the smaller side, they have a lot of games that you won’t find at most other game stores. I have only been here a few times, but never left empty handed. Some games are overpriced and others are priced reasonably. This is a really cool place to visit if you collect video games.
