“The peak of game stores. Gotta review this like a Steam game.
Graphics (Atmosphere): Outstanding
Pricing: Almost always on-par with PriceCharting, if not better.
Variety: You would think it would be impossible to fit this much into a store the size of a classroom. They have everything from games, consoles, accessories, cables, batteries, controllers, plushies, hats, toys, board games, figures, candy, stickers, trading cards, and even Hatsune Miku Potato Head.

“I legitimately don't know where to start. I LOVE this store. I grew up in the neighborhood behind it so it has a massive nostalgia factor for me. The Staff has always been great. Bryan is super helpful with the usually very large amount of questions I have. They probably have more Pokemon, One Piece, DBZ, products in stock than most other stores, They also have very hard to find products, including other TCGs, action figures, and comics(which I don't know anything about) . The TCG prices are always just about even with market. Sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower. They also have the only rewards program I've seen in any store like it ever, and I've been to and even reviewed quite a few other stores like it. I just wish they had room to host play events!”
“I walked in today to purchase comics Pokemon and the guys WERE VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE. They let me look around and gave me my space to look for what I was looking for. Both men At the counter were extremely helpful and carried great conversation when I needed support. Super knowledgeable and helpful. I have never walked in to Paradox and had a bad experience. I walk in all the time and spend hundreds of dollars with no issues. Paradox can have my business any day of the week with comics and Pokemon. If you ever need anything please don’t be afraid to ask the staff for help or support. They are all awesome!!!!”
“Was in the store this past Saturday. There was a kid who was a little short on his purchase. The cashier came over and put up the money he needed to be able to purchase a football. He walked out of there super happy. Times like these we need a little kindness. What may seem small to others can be really big to someone else. I dodnt get her name and I should have but just wanted to share her kindness.”

“Friendly staff, bright, clean, organized. Found exactly what I was looking for, which was the most updated large hardcover version of the dictionary. I want my kids to have access to a true old-style dictionary in addition to looking up words online. My teenage daughter also found a couple novels she wants to read.”

“So happy I found this website, I was able buy so many things for the upcoming fall Feasts at such a great price, my only complaint I would say is the shipping charges are quite high and they use UPS which I've always had trouble with regarding deliveries so I hope they change shipping carriers. The company is super responsive tho and saved me shipping fees by bundling two orders I had purchased separately, I will be buying all my stuff from them in the future”

“They brought my early 80’s baby doll back to life! Her head has always been too heavy for her body, so they made her a new body and cleaned her up. We also replaced her brown eyes with new blue eyes to match her mama’s. ??? She is precious, clean, and best of all her head doesn’t roll off. Not cheap at all, but she looks beautiful. “I had an excellent experience purchasing gifts for twin girls, they had everything we were looking for. The staff was very kind and willing to help and they even wrapped our gifts quickly in a beautiful paper. There was a municipal parking just around the corner too which made finding a spot easy even in December!”
“We cannot just walk by Akiba House without stopping in. The merchandise is always changing and you can grab a pack of cards, blindbags or play the machine to get a surprise! Our favorites are MIKU and Deku but there tons more characters anime to choose from.”

“Place is amazing! Owner is amazing. Super helpful and professional. We were able to order my daughter’s communion dress in December. Saw it in the window when walking by and knew we had to have it. The woman who helped us ordered in two sizes and she was correct. By the time we went back for pick up in February my daughter needed the next size.
Easy process. Great product. Great customer service and fair prices for good quality dresses.

“Good selection of science kits for educational purposes. I bought the solar car kit, the gauss rifle, and the make electricity kit for my kids. These kits are easy enough, with a little bit of challenge, and provide a concrete learning experience. A good place to shop for science fair projects. Highly recommended.”
“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”

“Had appointment at 1300 got there at 7 am got to the door at 1030 load less than hour friendly people work there can park there at the end of the building besides old trailer at the end of the parking lot right backing up at the door due to the wall in the way but overall good experience will return again”

“Pretty cool place! After asking nicely they were kind enough to let me inspect the used titles I wanted to purchase, all great condition and even carry japanese and asian imports of games. Itemized receipt and good conversation with the staff there. A wonderful first impression!”
